The gift card I purchased back in late August 2015 does not come with a bonus seasonal gift card unless you see it specifically in the details. Because of the time of the year, it will not come with one.
There was a hard card sent to me.
While the card was given as a gift, I am under the understanding this is ready to use or at the very least will be activated when you go to Olive Garden when it is ready to use.
Among other things, the gift card arrived in pristine condition last year, as it was purchased last year for Christmas. The device worked properly and did not have any defects

It would be ideal if the stats were left at zero. An error occurred while trying to use the card. A dried liquid layer covered the sticky surface. Additionally, there are issues with the magnetic strip. We were told by Amazon that we could not exchange it. Therefore, we are out a lot of money because they take our money and send damaged gift cards that can't be used! This isn't the way I want it. A brief update Having a conversation with the customer service agent left us with bleak results, but elevating the matter to a supervisor got things back on track. The broken card has now been replaced by Amazon. As a result, I'm giving the review a 2 out of 5 star rating. It would have been nice if the first CSR had been a bit more accommodating and when we asked to speak with their supervisor, we were met with unwelcome attitudes. As the first CSR assured him that the outcome would be the same, the supervisor actually stepped in to help. In any event, we are pleased that a replacement is being sent in order to have something useful available to give as a gift in the future.

The next time I purchase a gift card from Amazon, I will not purchase it! The gift card was sent as a Christmas gift, however when they attempted to use it the card was declined due to not having been activated, so they had to pay for the meal themselves. I found it extremely embarrassing, as well as those who tried I told Amazon that the card did not need to be replaced, it just needed to be activated, when I called, they said they would send me a replacement. As if they were totally clueless, they did not understand what I was saying. What are they doing wrong? How can they not understand the concept of gift cards? It was a gift I gave my mom for her birthday and she received it relatively quickly. A neighbor in another state lives with her. She will appreciate it very much if I send it.
