In the last two weeks, I've purchased two items, both of which were shipped for free. I tried ordering another one, but I'm having the same issue as you. The customer service department was unable to assist you.
When compared to a standard-sized gift card, it's quite small, perhaps 3"x 3", 3 1/2" x 3 1/2". However, it is very cute and has been well received by previous recipients. I have two more family graduations coming up next month, and this will most likely be the gift I give them. During graduation season, Amazon frequently runs out of this box, so if you want to order one, don't wait.
Yes, I did, and don't forget to include a gift card with your present so they know who gave it to them. His was a big hit with my nephew!

My daughter received a $200 gift card from me. For $25, I placed an order for a gift for her friend. I can't tell which one is which because neither is marked. So now I'm stuck without a present for my daughter's friend because I'm afraid I'll give her the $200 one by mistake.

There's a peel-off sticker (rather than a scratcher), so there's no need to be concerned about scratching off the code text. It's a little weird. I would have given it five stars if it weren't for that.
There is no need for a credit card. Cards are notorious for being unremembered. I got a silver Sharpie and scribbled my wishes and name on the box with it. The 18-year-old wrote me a note of gratitude the next day - Yes, there are still well-behaved teenagers around - He claimed he wasn't able to spend it quickly enough. He got what he wanted, and I had a lot of fun doing it. Win/Win. Thank you, Amazon, for thinking of such a novel concept.
I ordered four graduation gift cards, but none of them came with a personal note from me. None of the recipients had any idea who had given them the gift. I had to contact everyone, and they all claimed they had no idea who had given them the gift card. This defeats the purpose of sending a gift card in the first place, which was to make it more convenient. I'll send a card and a check the next time.
Ordering and shipping were both simple, but there was no option to include a note. It's a little strange to send a gift card without the option of including a note.
This is an excellent presentation box. It was almost lost in the mail, but it arrived a day before graduation. I'd like to see a range of box and tassel colors, as well as a tassel with a year number charm. That would've taken it to a whole new level! A purple box with a gold tassel and a Class of 2019 charm would have been on my wish list. That was something for which I would have been willing to pay more. I would have purchased only the box in which to place a VISA or Master Card. Blue, Red, Black, Maroon, and Purple boxes are my favorites to see. White, black, and gold tassels are available.
What a lovely case and presentation you have here. Although it comes sealed in plastic, I recommend opening it before gifting it because there is a bit of black dust on the inside from the case, and the card will most likely be dislodged during delivery. Before giving it to my friend's daughter, I cleaned out the dust and reinserted the card into its proper slot. It was a hit with her.
