A great deal of caution should be taken when activating. You may have to wait weeks for the gift card company to address the dispute and issue a new card depending on which website is printed on the back of the card. When you register the card on that website, your funds may be stolen by the website operators or due to malware on the site.
Delivery of the card will take place. These cards do not make funds available online. However, they are widely available at many stores if you are able to go outside. The grocery store chain, Walmart, CVS, etc., are a few that come to mind. Most of them are located near the cash register or at the front of stores.

My gift card did not work after I had ordered it and given it as a gift. The day after Christmas, I got a call from a friend saying that the gift card didn't have any money on it. When I called Visa, they told me it had never been activated by Amazon, so I called Amazon and was treated as though I was trying to scam them. It took ten minutes for me to get through, and I was passed from person to person. I am unable to ask anyone for help. After that, I had to call yet another number, but this time it took me over 45 minutes to get through. I was told that someone would contact me some time within the next few days when I still could not get assistance. In the end, I received an email today saying that I was going to receive a new gift card in a week's time. The holidays are over, and my friend's birthday is past.
A gift card was sent to me today after I made a purchase of $1 The shipping day was a waste of time, since it was invalid! My heart sank as I realized what had happened! It was good to hear back from Amazon within an hour about the refund in a few days after I emailed them about it. This is good, but not so great if you are using it to actually give as a Christmas This was a very unfortunate experience with a Visa gift certificate. I will no longer purchase Gift Cards from this site.
After having both an issue and a success with these cards, I have been able to figure out a possible solution for those who have been having issues with The card is swiped at a drive-through or made use of as a credit card like any other regular you use a gift card at a grocery store, like Walmart, you have to explain that you're using the card as well as the exact amount of money you'd like to use it for. If you don't, you will be declined for payment.
Card could not be registered on the company's website. It also could not be activated. Customer service told me the card had never been loaded or activated after I called the number on the card. The Amazon customer service department did send me a replacement card right away, but it was not worth the hassle in the end.
There are eight of these $100 cards I purchased, but one does not work. I've not heard back from Amazon and am very disappointed.
It doesn't work, plain and simple. It is the third time that I've tried to purchase and I have been unable to register the card online. I had also contacted My attempts to obtain a refund were unsuccessful so I contacted Amazon.
This scam is a scam, a scam, a scam. In both cases, I register my cards online as instructed on the back of the cards. It took me a few minutes to create my PIN number and activate them. A card can only be used at one place. The merchant has refused the purchase, no matter the monetary value on the website of my credit card. I tried restaurants, food shopping, and inline ordering, but every merchant declined the purchase.
It appears the card I purchased through my order isn't registering to activate. I gave the card to my son as a gift. My son got the card and it has a $0 balance after I called the number on back of the card several times and customer service advised me to call Amazon. Amazon customer service told me to call Amazon so I did, and I spent over an hour on the phone with them. Thank you for making this right, I need you to do it right away.
