I really liked these bands because they are light and airy. Although the silicone felt similar to the original Apple Watch bands, the metal did not. I'm allergic to nickel and can only wear stainless steel (which is what most watch bands are made of), gold, and silver. I had a reaction in about a day, which is how long it takes for a rash to appear where my skin comes into contact with metal. I assumed it was just the soap at work that was irritating my skin, but when I tried the original apple band on my other hand and got no reaction, I knew it wasn't the case. Overall, for those who aren't bothered by metal allergies, it's a fantastic band.
This watch band appealed to me until I discovered that the metal component was not stainless steel. It's a plated, low-cost metal of some sort. For most people, this isn't an issue, but my body devours cheap metal at an alarming rate. The plating is bubbling up and peeling away after only a few weeks, and the metal is eroding. The band is extremely comfortable and breathes better than the original Apple Watch band; if you don't mind cheap metals, I highly recommend this band.
This black band was purchased to replace a similar band that had broken when I pulled too hard. When comparing the two, I prefer this band because it is more durable (time will tell), and it has a metal button/snap part that can be inserted into any of the middle holes. I understand that some people report developing a rash, but I believe that, like most silicone bands, you just have to get used to it and that it goes away (at least in my case). My wrists are very small, so it wraps around but stops short of the watch. I always have long watch bands on me, and I don't seem to have to tug as hard as I did the first time I had to tighten it (different design), which is how it broke. It's a lot easier to put on and take off this one. So far, it's everything I wanted, and I'm pleased with my purchase.
For my Apple Watch, I have a variety of 'generic' watch bands from various Amazon sellers. All of these items have been worn numerous times and have never caused any issues. br>br>This is the second time I've bought something from this seller (7/20/21). He/she was the first to be replaced. When I put the second band through the grove, the connector on the second band (which I'd worn twice) broke. The other half of the band slid right through. br>br>Because I dislike leaving negative reviews, I contacted the seller first and asked for their opinion. br>br>This seller went back and forth, telling me: "Good day, buyer. Please accept my apologies. " I now double-check all of my products right away. This situation should be improved. To test whether the strap connector works, you press it. Thank you for your support; the strap should be slightly clicked as it slides through the groove. I'll have a look at my query. I know it wasn't a lot of money, but neither were the others. br>br>I know it wasn't a lot of money, but neither were the others. br>br>Don't throw your money away.
It is, but it has this loop on it that is kind of uncomfortable and I may trim mine off. I did, and the sizing appears to be fairly similar. It has a sort of in-between fitment that makes it a little too tight or too loose, but I'm getting used to it. The color is holding up well so far, with no signs of fading or yellowing. I'd say go ahead and get one, but for those who thought they were getting a Nike sport band replica, this is a little different.
The connectors are flimsy, and I can wiggle it around a little more than I'd like to be comfortable with where it connects to the watch.
esp. The clasp on the band has a secure'snap' feel to it, and the attachment to the watch is both secure and easy to replace. This band has made a big impression on me.
When I work at a large animal veterinary hospital, I get a heat rash from most apple watch bands. This band is perfect for me because I needed a waterproof, breathable band. It's soft but sturdy, and it keeps my wrist from getting rashy no matter how much I have to get my hands wet or sweaty and filthy. It's easy to clean and doesn't retain odors. When I use this in conjunction with a watch case protector, my watch is protected from scratches and bumps while I am on the job.
