I found these to be some of the most affordable covers out there. It is relatively easy to install them by turning them inside out, placing them on top of the thumb controls, and then flipping them right side out. Their comfort level is actually quite high. The don't move very much once they are in place. I have to adjust the size for the controllers since they are just a little too big for my Xbox One. As soon as they are installed, they play around quite a bit. The clips stay in place while being used, but they simply pop off when not being used. There was really only one reason I didn't give them five stars that.
They are meant to cover the PS3 joysticks I use pretty often since they are prone to damage. My usual practice is to break off the rubber cover, which then leaves me with The covers fit the original controller covers pretty well, but if the covers are already broken, it's a bit of a chore to get them on. If they are not covered with the original covers, they are loose on bare plastic, but they work just fine. It simply takes a few picks up off the floor from time to time. Although they are pretty comfortable on the thumb, they do not fit on all fingers.
If you end up in the middle of a game that gets quite intense, they can fall off pretty easily, but it's nothing too serious. You will find that they are super easy to reinstall once you get the hang of it.
On other systems there are some issues but they are still usable. The first thing I love about them is their simplicity. Only one star was deducted because they fit snugly on PS3 while they fit loosely on The PS4 and 360 are perfect for them. From the looks of it, the company sells specific ones for Your controllers will definitely last longer with these and be less likely to wear out. They are also great for restoring old ones to working order. In contrast to other options, these colored rings provide a nice pop of color without looking aftermarket or silly. As silly as it sounds, these do not result in a measurable change in height for the thumbsticks. It looks and feels silly to me when they are raised.
The controllers I use with these are quite superior to the previous model. It's not that hard to get them working, but the inability to use them is something to contend with. It's better than slipping off if they don't care about you.
The purpose of getting these was to give our video game trailers a sense of distinction. This photo features them on the PS4 controller as well as the Xbox One controller. When the kids go crazy with a controller sometimes they come off, but from a practical standpoint, they work great and I like the variety of colors!.
In an effort to keep them protected, I will cover all of my gamepads, no matter how much use they receive. As others have described, they were easy to install. You just turn the cover inside out and place it over the thumbstick. Then flip it over and remove it.
