Nintendo Wii U Console 8GB Basic Set - White

When it comes to expensive items, I'm always wary of used, refurbished, and other similar terms unless they're antiques. Obviously, the Wii U isn't one of them. Although, because of the Switch (which we will buy when THAT is an antique), my 9-year-old has some reservations. )

It arrived in a perfect box, sealed, wrapped, organized and everything looking 100% new. And it was all spotless, lovely, and ready to use. We've had it for quite some time and use it to play Wii games. To be honest, we got it because you can't play Mario games on anything other than a Nintendo console. At the very least, not in a reasonable manner. We didn't want to have to put a sensor bar somewhere, but it's so thin and small that we put it in front of the TV and haven't noticed it since. br>br>As a result of this purchase, I will consider purchasing refurbished gaming systems in the future. This is a HUGE deal for me.

Whatever the case may be. This used Nintendo Wii U was in good working order when I received it. However, I wish the seller had made it clear that the gamepad is required for setup, and that this seller, like others, sells Wii Us without the gamepad if they are used. That's fine, but I wish there had been more effort put into explaining why the gamepad is required for setup. I didn't realize this until I received it, tried to set it up, and discovered that I couldn't do anything with it because I didn't have the gamepad, so I ordered one right away. Fortunately, I have a friend who no longer plays Wii U who is letting me borrow his until the one I ordered arrives!.

Tgis was a Christmas present for my daughter, and everything seemed to be in order until I tried to put a game in it. I tried a few different discs, but none of them would read. So I kept trying, and the disc eventually started to read, but After that, it would totally freeze. I didn't want to return it, despite calling Amazon to do so, because my daughter was overjoyed to see it. So I contacted Nintendo, and I'm currently undergoing the process of having it repaired by them smdh. As a result, she had a miserable Christmas, and I was sad. 150 00 for a system that is no longer operational. Be careful what you buy.

I recently returned this because no matter what I tried, it would not sync. Yes, I am aware of how to correctly sync it. Despite the fact that there is an electronic version of everything, I received mail claiming that I was unaware that both the remote and the console had a button. I did, as well as googling it to see what I could do before sending it in. I had hoped that once they got it to sync, the problem would be solved, but it hasn't been. It connects to the gamepad, but not to the internet or to any other controllers or items. Every other device connects to it fine, so I know it's not my wifi. I really want this WiiU, but I'm getting frustrated right now. When I first started researching, I discovered that some people had issues with the console's inside wireless capability, so I tried to send it in for repair with Nintendo before returning, but I received an error message saying the warranty had expired. I have other streaming devices, but for obvious reasons, I want to sync controllers and such. Plus, for the money I'm paying, I'd prefer a working device. I guess I'll have to save up and send it to Nintendo to be repaired. Just keep in mind that this could be a problem for you as well when purchasing.

There is a need for a better product description. I really like the product and am looking forward to trying it out once all of the necessary components are in place. Unfortunately, the Amazon product description is very vague, and there is no indication that you will need to purchase additional controllers in order to play the sports game. The game pad does not provide an enjoyable experience. Additionally, there is no indication that additional controllers require a motion sensor, which is not included with some accessory controls and must be purchased separately. We were able to locate what we believed to be the appropriate controllers at Wal Mart - The motion sensors, however, were not included in the packaging, which was deceptive. On my second visit to Wally's, I discovered that they did not have those sensors in stock. We would have purchased these parts if we had known they were needed and had seen them on Amazon. We did, in fact, order a second controller through Amazon at the time of purchase, but we have no idea if it will come with the required motion sensor. It was purchased from a third party and has yet to arrive. As a result, our birthday party for the kids bowling tournament will be canceled due to the game's inability to function due to a lack of parts. Both when purchasing the console and the Sports Pak of games that Nintendo sells, the need for additional controls and sensors should be explained. It was a huge letdown and a complete waste of time. Amazon.

All of this can be done on the big screen in the living room or on the gamepad, allowing someone else to watch TV while I continue to play my game or surf the web, and I can use the gamepad in any room of the house. It also works well with my Amazon Prime membership. Now, because it's an "all-in-one" system, it does have some flaws, but they're minor annoyances that I can live with. There are too many wonderful things to say about it, but there isn't enough time or space to say them. It's an excellent system in my opinion, and you will not be disappointed if you purchase it. It gets two thumbs up!.

I just got my Wii U a few months ago, and the more I play it, the more I enjoy it. My only regret is not purchasing a larger hard drive; however, if you purchase an 8-gig model like I did, you can upgrade to a 32-gig model with a relatively inexpensive SD card. br>br>I enjoy playing on the gamepad rather than watching TV. I also enjoy the fact that I can play a game in my bedroom rather than having to sit in front of the television in my living room. The graphics are superior to what critics claim, who usually attack the Wii U and Nintendo with unfounded accusations. br>br>I also enjoy taking screenshots from my games and uploading them to Miiverse. Except for a few trolls who can be found everywhere, Miiverse is a fantastic forum. However, in my experience, if you need assistance on a level and post a message asking for help, other gamers will gladly assist you.
