Questions & Answers

Is the Vita 1000 compatible with this?

I'm not 100% sure because I have a slim (2000). The screen of the Slim has a bezel, whereas the screen of the 1000 does not. It may not fit on a 1000 if the buttons are too close to the screen. If that's the case, it should work out just fine. br>I hope that this information is useful.

Is this something that could be used in conjunction with a case?

Yes, it will happen. You won't even notice it's there once you've applied it. It won't get in the way of any of your case's extras.

Has anyone else had trouble with the screen's touch sensitivity, as mentioned by one of the reviewers?

That was mentioned in a few reviews, but I haven't had any problems. I was able to install mine without any dust beneath the protector as well.

It's a thin, nearly invisible film that won't shield your screen from serious scratches
3/5

I bought two of these Hori protectors from Amazon FBA (fulfilled by Amazon) seller JADD ENTERTAINMENT. I've tried three PS Vita Slim protectors so far. Hori, like Gam3Gear and Akwox, fell short of my expectations. Only the Mr Shield brand met all of my expectations for a screen protector. Anyway, I prepared myself by reading the comments and watching videos on how to apply the Hori screen protector. Throughout the installation, I used a powerful electric air blower as well as a keyboard vacuum. I wanted to make certain that the device screens were free of dust. I even made sure to blow dry the underside of the step 2 and 3 backing sheets that you're supposed to peel off. So that when the protector starts to adhere to the device, it doesn't drop any dust particles all over the screen when it's slowly peeled off. Steps 1, 2, 3, and 4 were a pain for the first PS Vita device I installed this on. Sigh, when the two backings were peeled off, a lot of particles got caught. To lift the protector and remove the particles stuck beneath the actual screen protector, I had to use scotch tape on it. It wasn't a particularly pleasurable experience. On the second device, the same thing happened, but this time the screen protector had a rainbow effect on the underside. I completely forgot to take a picture because the whole thing was so stressful for me. I couldn't get the rainbow effect to go away no matter how hard I pressed the protector. On the second device, I ended up using a different protector (Mr Shield) that worked much better and took less than three minutes to install. I'm going to take the Hori screen protector off the first device because I don't think it'll protect my screen in any way. It was a waste of $30 to buy two of these dreadful Hori film "protectors. " This protector is also not the edge-to-edge size that I had hoped for. It also happens to be one of the thinnest screen protectors I've ever seen. It's so thin that you're not sure it'll even keep anything safe. It's a lot thinner than the protector's protective backing, which you peel off during installation. The peel off backing also leaves an obnoxious straight line in the middle of the protector. It comes in two layers of backing film, one on the right and one on the left (steps 2 and 3). Step 1 is a tab that you peel off the back of the protector and stick to the screen while aligning it. This step 1 was ineffective because as you peel off the backing, the entire protector begins to move around, even when you are pressing it down firmly. The only thing I can say in favor of this protector is how unnoticeable it is once applied and how simple it was to remove the bubbles. The item's thinness gives it a seamless, almost invisible appearance. The real question is how well it will protect your screen. This is the same film that protects brand new electronic devices from fingerprints when they are first purchased. Despite the fact that this Hori is still a magnet for fingerprints. If you're serious about protecting your screen from serious scratches, I'd look elsewhere for the price and the fact that you only get one thin film type "protector" per kit. ETA: ETA: ETA: ETA: ETA: ETA: ETA: ETA: ETA: ETA Before I removed the Hori protector, I decided to play with my Vita. I didn't like the way the protector felt on my skin, and it gave me a weird feeling. It has the feel of a shabby, low-budget film. I was worried that it might have been my brand new Vita after some missed touch screen responses, but it wasn't until I tried the Welcome Park app. The line I mentioned in my original review was particularly noticeable in games with white or light-colored backgrounds. Unless you see the flaws in person, it's difficult to capture a close-up photograph of them. Even after spending nearly two hours applying this protector to two different Vitas, there were still a lot of flaws underneath. Removing the two film backings while they are still adhered to the screen is a major flaw in my opinion, as it will cause a lot of dust to fall. If you already own this protector, just take a close look and use a flashlight. Without the protector, the screen appears to be clearer. The "invisible" look of this protector is overshadowed by the feel, middle line, and collected dust. This product has left me extremely disappointed, and I'm not sure why so many people have praised it.

It is very simple to use
5/5

I've used the more "rugged" screen protectors made of thicker plastics, but Hori did a fantastic job creating an easy-to-use screen protector. Apply a protector that will disappear when you're done, even if a bubble appears during application. br>br>So simple to apply (I know I keep saying this, but some have been a pain) and the amazing Vita screen is protected from everything (including normal use with your fingers) once you're done. ) I've had it on for a while and it doesn't seem to be shifting or lifting, which is a plus. This will save your screen if you have a second-generation Vita.

The screen protector is absolutely fantastic
5/5

It is compatible with the Vita 2000 Slim Model. The screen protector is absolutely fantastic. It is compatible with the Vita 2000 Slim Model. It covers the entire screen, as stated on the package, so it goes over the screen as well as the bezel around it. It covers the PS Vita logo at the bottom of the screen as well as the Sony logo at the top left. You should be fine if you follow the instructions to the letter; I do have two tiny little air bubbles that were caused by a mistake on my part; you are supposed to place your thumb in a certain part of the screen protector, which I didn't; I didn't do that, which is why I have two tiny bubbles, but they aren't too bad. It's well worth the money, and it's simple to set up. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this product to protect your PS Vita.

This is a fantastic screen protector
5/5

This screen protector performs admirably, but it's worth noting that it doesn't cover the entire screen of the PlayStation Vita 2000. Instead, this screen protector covers the area of the screen just above the "PSVITA" logo at the bottom of the system and just below the "SONY" logo in the upper left hand corner of the system on the PlayStation Vita 2000 system. The most important part of the screen for the PlayStation Vita 2000 system is covered by this screen protector, but not the entire screen. br>br>However, because you get two screen protectors instead of one, and the installation process is fairly simple and straightforward, this is an excellent product that I would strongly recommend.

I've never seen such a good screen protector
5/5

This is fantastic. I didn't think there was any point in getting a better screen protector than the one Gamestop gave me for free, but boy was I wrong. On your phone, a good screen protector may not be required, but on the Vita, it is. a gaming screen that you stare at for long periods of time - It is, in fact. And for less than ten dollars, you should be able to get the best one available, this one. Because it's the same size as the entire surface of the vita, there are no dust accumulation lines where the screen protector ends. When applied correctly, it's so clear that you can't tell it's there. The application appeared to be a little wonky, but that was only because I'm a moron and misunderstood the instructions. Stick to the directions to the letter. Before you expose any of the actual screen protector, you first expose a small sticky part of the screen protector unit to hold everything in place so you can get everything perfectly aligned. Not only is the actual product superior, but the packaging and application method have been designed to be EASY to follow. Don't worry if you've already put another protector on your vita and aren't looking forward to going through the process again. It's far too simple, inexpensive, and superior of a screen protector to pass up right now. It's something along the lines of a 7-year-old. It's only $8, so go ahead and get it. Finally, I used the hot shower trick to remove as much dust from the air as possible while applying this protector, and it worked flawlessly. Instead of bringing your entire vita into the shower, run a hot shower while you apply this thing to the toilet, as I did. I'd send a photo, but there's nothing to see because it's so good.
