PlayStation 4 Pro 1TB Console - Red Dead Redemption 2 Bundle [Discontinued]

After 7 hours of activity, I was dead; it had been a horrible experience. br>I decided to upgrade to the PS4 Pro because I was planning on purchasing Red Dead Redemption 2 anyway. And this thing was extremely loud right out of the box when I turned it on! After about 10 minutes, I detect a burning odor. First, I looked at the console, which was scorching! So, I put my floor fan right next to the console and finished installing Red Dead Redemption 2, which took about an hour, and then downloaded the patch update, which took close to two hours (3 GBs, i know) before turning it off for 30 minutes before playing the game, because my thought process was, "wow, I should probably let this thing rest before firing up RDR2. " br>br>Turned it on to start playing, and within 3 minutes, the fan was extremely loud and very hot! I told myself, "Fuck it, I'm going to keep playing. " And everything went well; I played for about three and a half hours before becoming sleepy and falling asleep. I woke up this morning, launched the RDR2 app, and within two minutes of playing, a message appeared saying "PS4 is too hot. " Turn the PS4 off until the temperature drops" - After that, it turns off on its own! So I took a 5-minute break before trying again. RDR2 was started once more. This happened again before I could even get to the menu. At this point, I'm extremely frustrated. I gave it 10 minutes and put a chunk of ice in a bag on it, then tried again and couldn't get past the whole "the PS4 wasn't turned off properly last time" blah blah blah message that we're all familiar with (from lights going out/etc)br>br>I looked it up online and apparently this has been an issue for others since the PS4 Pro was released! And, based on what I've seen, I guess I've just been giving a bad unit? br>I'm going to return this and get my money back. I'm not sure what I want to do with myself right now. Is it better to save the money and play RDR2 on my old PS4 or try again with a PS4 Pro? I had a strong desire to play games in 4K. edit: br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br Also, when packing the PS4 back into its box for return, I get a burnt-up smell from the back of the console.

I believe it is. The internet adapter in this unit has been bricked by version 02 of the operating system. So, I've been wanting to upgrade my PS4 Slim to a PS4 Pro for a while now, so when I saw this deal, I took advantage of it. I pre-ordered it more than a month before it came out. It came a day later than expected, but that was fine with me. I put my fantastic PS4 Slim to the side and replaced it with this beauty. After answering a few simple setup questions, the system was up and running, downloading the 600 MB 6. Before I even noticed, the 02 patch went in without a hitch. After that, it proceeded to set up the 6. This model's internet adapter completely stopped communicating with any router after the 02 patch. This console took me two days to troubleshoot. br>br> I started by searching the internet and forums, then reinstalling the firmware three times from a USB drive. I also contacted my ISP and spoke with them for several hours to make sure it wasn't anything to do with the router settings or on my end. I reconnected my PS4 Slim, and it now works flawlessly on 6. Finally, as a last resort, I had my brother bring over his older PS4 Pro, which connected to my WiFi without issue. br>br>I'm not sure why Sony doesn't put more effort into quality testing their system updates before releasing them. Sony's decision to send out consoles that don't work right away after updating to version 6 makes me angry. Since the first PlayStation, I've been a huge fan. This, however, has worn me out. I'm going to use my PS4 Slim again because it doesn't have any problems.

I was under the impression that I had purchased a brand new PlayStation 4. This unit does not appear to be new. The box appeared to be damaged, which is understandable given that I believe the unit had previously been used. It started up fine, but it made a noise every now and then while I was using it, and the front of the device had marks and finger prints on it.

Finally, I chose this console after a bad experience with the Xbox 360's online lag in Black Ops 2. I traded it in for a PS3 and had it for a few years before deciding to upgrade to this PS4 Pro with RDR2, which essentially means you can get a PS4 for under $350, which I thought was too good to pass up until the PS5 came out. I'm pleased with my purchase overall!.

As of November 2018, purchasing this item is the only way to get the PS4's updated version. br>br>Compared to previous models, this one is 2 decibels quieter. This was only recently made public, with gamer news sites all over the world reporting on it. The game is excellent. br>br> I've never seen graphics like these before, and I'm using a GTX 1080 to play The Witcher 3. br>br>The PS4 Pro is a fantastic console, and this game is fantastic as well. br>br>I'd like to emphasize that the console produces almost no noise. br>br>I'm a spoiled PC gamer, so take my word for it that the PS4 Pros is a fantastic value.

Thank you very much. Oh, and I always play in 4K; I haven't even started Red Dead yet, but I'm playing a game that I didn't expect to be 2160p HDR. For those who aren't aware, the Red Dead Redemption PS4 Pro bundle is model CUH7200. It'll probably say CUH7215b or 16b, but either way, the 7200 series has a few tweaks that make it run a little quieter, similar to adding low-noise props to your drone. To add to that, I have my console on the floor because I didn't sleep for like a day and a half because I was playing it straight, so I left it paused and went to GameStop for an hour with power safe settings off, and I gamed all day no problem, so I say she'll get it done.
