If you're able, grab them
5/5

The ability to connect wirelessly is incredible. The PS5, Switch, and PC can all be connected via USB. C, or a standard USB dongle. Extremely relaxing! I'm a big guy with lots of hair. I was wearing framed glasses and wouldn't have known I was wearing them after wearing this headset for 6 hours straight. The microphone is also extremely clear and concealable. I'd strongly advise you to use them!.

I bought these headphones to drown out my girlfriend's incessantly shrill voice while I was playing games. "THE BABY IS ON THE WAY!" she would say over and over. ", as well as "YOU DID THIS TO ME!" and "YOU DID THIS TO ME!" "Thank goodness the headphones worked because I didn't hear a single shriek from her!" or the paramedics who whisked her away to deliver her baby. THE BEST HEADPHONES ON THE MARKET!.

This was purchased for the PlayStation 5

So, right out of the gate, this is supposed to be compatible with PS5 3D audio. It has a "self-adjusting" headband style. he appeared to be relaxed and wide-eyed. br>br>I wanted the Sony 3D audio headset, but it wasn't available at the time I wanted it. I'll probably buy it later because this headset is so comfortable. There is one major flaw in the design. Instead of using a USB type C port, that is. They chose the dreaded, let's be a pain, micro USB charge port for some unholy reason that I can only assume. WHY WHY! br>br>I'm not sure why you'd make such a good decision. Then flub it on everything else in terms of design. br>br>As a consumer, I much prefer this option after using USB type C on every other product. Unfortunately, I have a strong preference for the headband style that this has. As far as comfort goes, that "self-adjusting" style is the best. br>br>Anyway, I'm starting with a four-star rating and will update as needed. br>br>For the price, this is a good solid headset, but the charge port decision irritates me. Except for the og design, I despise almost every kind of USB. type C.

Why is it ranked number one on so many lists? I based my decision on multiple review sites that said this was a 1
3/5

Tom's in particular. It's alright, but it doesn't wow me. The Sony gold and platinum headsets were my most recent purchases. The sound and controls are fantastic, but the build quality is poor. Both of which shattered at the same time. The hinges on which they fold, which should never have been there in the first place. Anyway. br>br>Quality and comfort are satisfactory. The retractable microphone that turns red when muted is a nice touch, but the mute button is a little awkward to use when muted. br>br>The volume wheel is adequate for sound, but there is a separate volume wheel for controlling how much of yourself is heard in the headset. Why? Option is a waste of time. Instead of putting money into chat, they should have put money into balance control. If you didn't want to lose subtle in-game sounds because you couldn't hear chat during aggressive battles, adjusting on the fly like the Sony platinum was great. br>br>However, they are unlikely to be able to do so because the headset is not Bluetooth-enabled. It's great for extending the range of the headset while keeping it functional, but it creates a new issue. If you want to keep the dongle connected all of the time, you'll have to manually turn the headset on and off in the PS4 settings. br>br>The simplest way is to go to settings with your headset connected and set it as default for the mic, but not for sound. Then, whenever you want to use the headset, change the setting in your quick menu to send all audio to the headset and only chat when you don't. br>br>That is the only workaround I've found, but I've had to disconnect and reconnect the dongle a few times because it wouldn't recognize the headset. br>br>Even the cool retractable microphone isn't all it's cracked up to be. According to the people I play with, both of my Sony sets with built-in mics were significantly better. With this one, I had to turn up the mic gain quite a bit to get them to hear me in-game. br>br>All in all, this headset is adequate at best, but not for the $150 I paid for two of them! If I had to buy it again, I wouldn't pay more than $50, but I wouldn't. br>br>However, knowing full well that it will fall apart in two years, I would pay the $200 or whatever I paid for the platinum again. 3 years. When I get a PS5, I'll start looking into the more expensive headsets.

On a budget, wireless gaming with no audio lag is possible
5/5

The SteelSeries Arctis 7P is equipped with a USB-C port. Wirelessly connect your PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and even your phone with the C dongle. This is a wireless headset that connects to a computer via USB 2. 0. Instead of Bluetooth, a 4GHz wireless RF USB dongle is used. While this limits the headphones' versatility, it also means you don't have to spend as much time pairing them, and there's no noticeable latency, which is why I chose this model over any other Bluetooth headset. br>br>It's also very comfortable with this headset. After adjusting the Velcro suspension strap for a few moments, I was able to relax and enjoy a number of relaxing gaming sessions. The strap was soft and elastic, putting just enough pressure on my head to keep the headset in place. Walking around my apartment, however, made it feel a little loose because it was wireless. Despite the fact that you don't need to be close to whatever you're gaming on, these headphones are definitely designed for use while seated. Even a small amount of movement can cause some jittering. br>br>I also appreciated being able to plug in the USB-C cable. To make hands-free calls, I connect a C dongle to my phone and use the headset. br>br>In a nutshell. . . br>br>GOOD br> Good sound. br> A wide range of connectivity options. br> There isn't any lag in the audio. br> Long-distance. br> Surround sound is excellent. br> It's a pleasant place to be. br>It can be used on a variety of devices that have a USB port. PORT C. br>br>NOT SO GOOD. br>- Some features require the use of an app.
- Bass is a little too strong.
- Mic has a hard time handling bass. br>br>To summarize, this is a cost-effective, feature-rich, and convenient wireless headphone. It doesn't hit every mark, but it does so at a level of quality that would require a lot more money to match.
