I took four measurements before and after peak usage from the exact location at the back of the PS4 at the hottest point of the exhaust, with five minute intervals between measurements. It actually increased during my measurements (from 115 to 118 degrees Fahrenheit). My main concern is that it isn't actually blowing cool air over the CPU, RAM, or GPU. Instead, the hottest air is forced across ALL of the components, resulting in an INCREASE in overall heat. br>br>At the bottom of this, two tiny fans pull in and blow a small amount of air. I'm unable to calculate CFM because I lack the necessary equipment. They are, however, extremely powerful. flimsy and do nothing to keep the PS4 cool- Pro. Because exhaust fans can only move a certain amount of air at a time, and the tiny fans on this stand aren't moving enough, the device is simply allowed to overheat. DO NOT BUY THIS IF COOLING IS YOUR MAIN PROBLEM. This is the epitome of killing four birds with one stone; all I wanted was a stand for my PS4 Pro because I'd run out of room on my entertainment console for another gaming console (see first photo). Despite the fact that it costs $10 more than a simple stand, I believe it is still a great deal for me, especially since you can charge your controller on it. A two-controller charger would easily cost me $20 or more, not to mention the space it would take up, which I don't have. Now, let's talk about the product: it's obviously a stand that can be used with any PS4 model (normal, slim, and pro) and comes with two cooling fans to help suck out the warm air produced by the unit. Aside from that, it has a two-dock controller charger with cool indicator lights that can be seen from a long distance (its large lighted sign) and a 12-game storage compartment on the other side. Unfortunately, I only have one game right now that I downloaded from the PlayStation Store, so I haven't tried that side with a PS4 game disk yet; However, I tried it out on the Xbox One and it seems to work fine. I had no problems setting it up, but if you're looking to set it up in a small space, you should measure it first because standing the PS4 on its end does make it a bit tall. It's been over a year since I got it. I like it a lot. I've had it for a month and have had no problems with it. It securely stores and charges all of my controllers. The fan is quiet, but the instructions on how to use it were difficult to follow. The game holder is fantastic, but be careful how you insert your game; if you force it in, the plastic will bend. When I place my PS4 on the holder, it has a good balance. It was a perfect fit for my PS4 Pro. This is a purchase that I would recommend, and the price is excellent.
