So I decide to purchase a new one on Amazon because it is the most convenient and I can get a better deal. This, I must say, has never let me down. This headset is far superior to what I had anticipated. The mic switch is one of my favorite features. That's exactly what I'm looking for in a Zoom meeting! If I forget to turn off the mic option in Zoom, I don't have to check it every time. I've had my share of humiliating experiences. All I have to do now is turn off the light, lol. The previous headset I had favored bass; however, I prefer this one because it made me feel more comfortable for a longer period of time.
This is an excellent beginner's headset at an affordable price. br>br>At first, I was skeptical because this headset was made by a company I had never heard of, and it cost around $20. In this price range, I've had some really bad headsets. I've had some fantastic headsets as well. The audio was flawless. I was also completely absorbed by the games that I was playing. I tried out a wide range of games, from war games to driving simulators. The highs and mids were crystal clear and crisp. Lows were rumbling, and there was no breaking or cracking with explosions or abrupt changes when a bass hit occurred. Switching between gaming and music is a good example of this. When playing online, the microphone picks up vocals clearly. With good noise cancellation in the background. I also used the mic to record live vocals with music, and it picked up every note clearly and concisely, thanks to the nylon braided wires in the cable. The headset has volume and mic controls, which is convenient because you don't have to reach for the controls on the cord. The only complaint I have is that the headset was a little tight around my head, but not unbearably so. br>br>A different style headband is possible, but it is not required. If you make a wireless set, I'd be interested in purchasing one. Maybe the USB plug could do more than just power the LEDs in the headset. br>br>Gamers / Video Live Chat / Music / Music Recordingbr>br>Great affordable headset for any type of gamer, from beginner to pro.
These are nice, but they make my ears sore, which is normal for most headsets because I have very sensitive ears, but overall this headset is awesome, my friends say it sounds nice, and they sound nice on my end as well, so you get a 5 star from me (note that if you plan to play on Xbox or PS4, you will need to get an adapter, which you can get for about $7 on here).
EDITED: br>br>With the exception of the headset's audio output, everything I said about it was positive. I've had the headset for exactly two weeks, and every time I move the microphone even a centimeter, a loud burst of never-ending noise erupts from it. Endless static blasts through my headphones, delighting my ears. br>br>There should be no product with a two-week shelf life. This isn't even a low-cost item.
I was wearing earbuds, but they began to irritate my ears after a while. My ears were hurting from talking on the phone and taking my earbuds out so much. I bought these because they had excellent reviews, but I was hesitant because they felt cheap when I took them out of the box. I put them on and plugged them into my computer, and they immediately started working. They're always comfortable to use, whether I'm talking to customers, my agents, in meetings, or listening to music. br>br>I also bought them to use with my PlayStation, and they worked perfectly. Since the lights are powered by the USB port, they won't light up if you're playing on the console, but that doesn't bother me because I can't see the lights on the sides when I'm wearing them. I was at a PS4 Minecraft party with one of my friends, and she said the mic quality was so good that she felt like I was in the room with her. Advantages: br>br>
1. All head sizes are accommodated by the adjustable sizebr>2. The bass is incredible. I have a pair of $200 Bose headphones that are even better. br>3. The lights are extremely bright, and the cycling is smooth and consistent. br>4. They're noise-cancelling, but only when they're in the right position. I've discovered that placing the padded head part closer to my forehead is the most effective. br>5. The cost! I spent around $20 in total, tax included. I had bought a more expensive pair about two years ago, but they were so bad that I gave them away to a thrift store.
6. In the box, there was a mic/audio separator. It's ideal if you have a tower or gaming computer, and it'll save you money; I wasn't expecting one in the box because one of the reviews said they had to buy one. Because I work from a laptop, I simply plug the headset into the headphone jack. It meets my needs perfectly. br>br>Cons:
1. You have no control over the color of light. It simply alternates between different colors. It's still nice, but I'd prefer the option of choosing specific colors.
2. Because the mic does not rise, it is always turned off. It works fine when they're on my headset stand, but I'm afraid I'll break the mic if I have to travel with them.
3. The earlobes do not move up and down or side to side. Someone with a head that is slightly different in shape than mine may find that the headset does not fit or is not as comfortable. br>br>Overall, I am extremely pleased with my purchase. I'm always a little hesitant to buy anything electronic from Amazon because you never know if you'll get exactly what's shown in the listing photos, but this headset is exactly what's shown. I am very pleased with my purchase, and I frequently receive compliments on the headset from friends and family. They're also taken aback by the price. If the need arises, I will undoubtedly purchase them again.
It's cheap, which is a plus, and the sound quality is pretty amazing, as is the noise-canceling; I barely hear anything. Comfort is a four-star rating; they're a little tight on the ears, and I have a medium-sized head, but you get used to it and can adjust it a little! These are ideal for use with PCs and laptops. There's an adapter included to connect it to your computer, which is pretty cool. The LED lights are cool for decoration, but they don't detract from the overall package, and you can unplug them at any time. The mic switch on the headphones is super convenient, and I think it's worth the money, even if it makes a noise when you switch it on and off in calls, which the mic detects. 4 out of 5 stars. If you don't mind the minor flaws, I'd give it an 8 out of 10.
