Thrustmaster Open Wheel Add On (PS5, PS4, XBOX Series X/S, One, PC)

This is a fantastic wheel. This is the wheel I use for GT racing, and it's fantastic. There are many suggestions for this wheel in relation to F1 racing, but the Ferrari F1 wheel, in my opinion, is unrivaled for F1 racing. This wheel, on the other hand, is unrivaled in GT racing. I also took the toy out of the picture. such as stickers Without the stickers, the wheel is absolutely stunning. The hand grips are suede, not alcantara, as many reviewers claimed. It has a solid feel to it. This is a fantastic wheel.

It's all over now. For the past two years, I've been using the original wheel that came with the base, and this is a huge improvement. It's small and light, with solid buttons and a fantastic feel. br>br>I played with it for one night and believe I was going through corners a little faster after remapping a few buttons. Which seems silly to me, and I'm sure it's just because I'm happy about the purchase subconsciously! If you're looking for a great wheel to race with, look no further. can make the investment worthwhile. This is the wheel you'll be using.

During an Amazon sale, I purchased a Thrustmaster T300RS kit (the price was too good to pass up!). Since the fall of 2019, I've been happily racing with that. I was considering purchasing the Ferrari F1 wheel, but after reading reviews that the knobs and dials were fake (or decals), I looked into this wheel and decided to purchase it because it is compatible with both the PS4 and the PC. The good news is that: br>br> It's absolutely wonderful. It's comfortable in my hands, and I'm able to hold it in a natural grip. In F1 2019, the handling is better than the stock T300RS wheel, which was already good. I also like how the D- is spelled out. The pad and square button have been relocated to the left side of the steering wheel, making it easier to ask Jef questions while driving. It's also now even easier to tell Jeff to shut up or inquire about the driver in front of me. The disadvantages: br>br> The only drawback is that the grips will stain your hands with dye (as shown in the photos). To prevent discolored hands, a simple "fix" might be to buy some driving gloves.

This wheel was purchased to go with my T500 RS PC and PS4 rig. The open wheel set is nearly identical to the one found on the TS-100. PC set. My entire setup is mounted on a Playseat Challenge, which allows me to move it between rooms where these systems are located. I was having trouble using this wheel on both systems for a variety of reasons that I assumed were the cause, but it turns out that the wheel works fine as long as your base is updated to the latest firmware and the new wheel is recognized by the base. This fixes the issue of buttons being mapped incorrectly and other strange in-game behaviors, though you'll need a PC and Thrustmaster's latest drivers (available on their website) to update the firmware. Having grown accustomed to the GT wheel on the T500 RS and its static paddles for years, newcomers to this style of wheel will find it strange to use. Apart from being the cherry on top of a proper open wheel racing experience, the general idea behind this wheel is to maximize control. You shouldn't have to move your hands from the 9 and 3 o'clock positions, which you won't be able to do anyway because half the wheel is "missing. " The grips are nice and chunky, though the suede feels strange at first; however, it's a nice change from the rubber GT wheel that rubbed my hands raw after long stints. Since I sold my G27, I haven't used wheel mounted paddles, so being able to keep my hands in one place is extremely beneficial. The placement of the buttons is less intuitive than on the GT wheel, but that's to be expected. Overall, I'm pleased with the wheel's feel and construction. br>br>In terms of in-game use, I've only tested it on the PS4 with Gran Turismo Sport so far, and there have been no issues to report. However, I also tried Project Cars, and while everything prior to entering a race went smoothly, there was no force feedback at all when the race began. I'm guessing it's more the fault of the game, but I'm not ruling out some wackiness with the T500's new firmware and/or wheel. I haven't had a chance to test this setup on PC yet, but after a few runs in GT Sport with it, I think I'm a fan. br>br>Overall, this is a high-quality wheel that performs well and feels great in the hand. If you're looking for more convenience, I believe this is a niche add-on for those who want a closer open wheel/LMP feel. I still have a few issues with certain games that I need to work out/draw conclusions on, but other than that, I'm happy.

wheel of fashion I'm the proud owner of a Thrustmaster T-shirt. I wanted an open wheel / GT style option for my GT wheel and base. I had a lot of fun with it while I had it, but I had to return it at the end. Advantages: br>br>
- Size is compact and lifelike. br> Increases the fidelity of your Thrustmaster wheel base's force feedback. br>- The shifters make solid clicksbr>- br>br>Cons: br>br>Easy to installbr>br>
- When pushed, buttons had a little too much travel and provided no pleasant feedback. br>- In comparison to T-shirts, there aren't as many rotary dials. br>GT wheel- Button placement was never intuitive to me. br>br>I mostly returned it because of the buttons. I wish Thrustmaster would include the T-word in their game. Open wheel / GT rim with GT button style. It's something I'd buy in a heartbeat. Otherwise, if you're looking to add a GT-style wheel to your base and aren't picky about button feel or placement, this will suffice.

I purchased the "TS-XXXXXXXXXXXXX XW Racer Sparco P310" and was dissatisfied with the D-stick. pad on the steering wheel It was clear right away that I needed a wheel with a D-shaped spoke. it with a pad br>As much as I wanted the Ferrari F1 wheel, the open wheel add-on was a better fit for my needs. I'm glad I bought it because I had no trouble remembering what the buttons did and how to use the D-pad. The pad is perfect; it was instant fun right out of the box, and it felt great in my hands. br>Gloves will be required. It's been tested on Xbox One S, F1 2020, Asetto Corsa, and Project Cars 2. I only race Open Wheel and LMP cars on occasion, but this is ideal for both. br>Well done, thrustmaster; a straightforward and to-the-point wheel with no frills.
