TL/DR: Just take it. br>First and foremost, the reviews for this thing are complete garbage. "OMG, super cute joycon caps"br>"The TPU material is my favorite"br>It's a low-cost, foreign item with "bot" reviews. Regardless of that fact, the case itself is actually quite good. Despite all of the strange reviews praising TPU, I had no idea what it was and assumed it would be sticky, clingy, or simply have a strange rubbery feel. It's a "soft" plastic that has a good grip. The case itself has a nice feel to it. It provides a more solid feel to the device. The Switch Lite feels a little flimsy out of the box, so this is a big step forward. I don't care about the joystick covers, and the screen protector is pretty standard. br>That concludes my assessment.

My only gripe is that you have to remove it to get to the SD card slot, but that's not a big deal because I don't use it very often. The case is well-designed and attractive, with nice comfortable grooves.

Superior comfort and adequate protection (at least, that's what I'm hoping for!). I love my Switch Lite; it's the first handheld I've owned since my first Game Boy many years ago, and I've grown too accustomed to traditional console gaming over time. My concern with my Switch Lite was that it wouldn't "feel" like a controller enough (which has proven to be true in my personal experience and opinion). I'm a huge fan of first-person shooters and racing games, which necessitate the use of the shoulder buttons and Z triggers on a regular basis. That was awkward and uncomfortable for me, so I was looking for a case with good grips, and I was pleasantly surprised by this one! It now feels almost exactly like a regular gamepad to me, and I'm having a lot more fun with it. While I find the included thumbstick nubs to be a bit campy and juvenile in appearance, they are a nice touch and provide much more grip than the bare thumbstick. So far, the screen protector included in the package has performed admirably and was simple to install. Yes, I now have a few bubbles on my screen, but I'm not concerned because I'm terrible at applying those things to begin with. In terms of sturdiness, it appears to be on par with the level of protection provided by my Unicorn Beetle phone case (which, if you're unfamiliar with the brand, provides consistently tough cases at a reasonable price) overall, with the shoulder buttons and Z triggers left [obviously] exposed as the only kryptonite against drops, which I hope to have few, if any. My only real criticism is that there is no opening for the microSD slot, which should not have been an afterthought in this day and age when many gamers (including myself) prefer digital downloads, so you'll have to remove the entire unit from the case to swap microSD cards. One of my favorite aspects of this case is that it can be carried in your pocket! It fits nicely in all of my pants' back pockets (I haven't tried the front pockets because they are usually occupied with my phone, wallet, and keys). br>br>UPDATE: br>br> My Switch Lite took its first fall from a height of about 3 feet (1 meter) yesterday and was completely unharmed! So far, this is a fantastic product.

This was purchased for my daughter's Nintendo Switch Lite in the Coral color, which she absolutely adores! The paw print analog joystick covers were what drew her to this one. These are made of silicone and fit perfectly over and around the analog sticks. I don't think these are going to come off easily. I've seen snap-on caps before, but these aren't them. It appeals to me because it includes a screen protector and appears to be sturdy enough to keep the Switch safe from harm. The screen protector is a standard tempered glass screen protector. br>br> It is a perfect fit for the entire screen. When it comes to installing, there is virtually no room for error. There are no easy-to-follow installation instructions included. Two strips of scotch tape, placed on either side of the screen protector, are my trick. Use the scotch tape to secure one side of the backing along the screen edge after peeling off the backing. Lower the other end of the glass slowly once it is in place. Then, starting in the middle and working outward, squeegee out the bubbles with a credit card. I slightly misjudged and the screen protector was a millimeter off the edge. Bubbles in the main viewing area of the screen aren't a big deal. I was looking for a case with a grip when I came across this one and decided to give it a try. It appeals to me. It's safe to wear, comfortable to hold, suitable for children, and simple to put on and remove. The grips are comfortable and make long game play more enjoyable, and the color is fantastic. br>br>I would strongly advise you to try this case. The screen protector was perfect, but I already had one on, and I was also given free thumb grips. I wish this case was available for regular-sized switches as well.

This case strikes a good balance between style, functionality, and price, and I'm very impressed with it! It's extremely comfortable to hold compared to the Switch itself. It has a smooth, matte texture that is very pleasant to the touch and fits perfectly in your hand. I bought the teal color and it looks great - flawlessly- At first glance, it's impossible to tell it's a separate piece. The back has a nice design that adds some personality. It feels incredibly solid, and I truly believe that having purchased it has made my device safer. It was well worth the money!.
