When I first received this product, it did not work. The charging indicator was very dim and blinking when I plugged it into my GBA SP, rather than a bright solid color. I left the GBA SP plugged in for three days and still had a dead battery, but the light brightened (though it continued to blink). Considering all of the positive feedback on this page, I was unsure what the problem was, so I purchased a new battery for my GBA SP. With a new battery, the same problem occurred. br>br>So I went to a local game store and asked to try out a used charger that came with a used GBA SP. It was a total success. I bought a new charger from that store, and when I got home, I was surprised to see that it looked almost identical to the one on this page. The new one, on the other hand, was packaged properly and weighed more. This product came in a small cardboard box, was lighter, and felt almost hollow when it arrived. The two chargers appear to be identical in every other way. The new one, on the other hand, was a dream to use. TL; TL; TL; TL; TL; TL; TL; TL; TL; TL DR - My GBA SP was unable to be charged using this charger. After wasting money on another battery, I went to a local store and purchased a new charger. The issue is with this product, which you should avoid purchasing from them. br>br>You might strike it rich, but the gamble isn't worth it. Simply look for a GBA SP/NDS charger in your neighborhood. This one appears to be a ripoff of other chargers, and it comes with far too much risk. Simply look for one in your area. Mine cost me around $10 USD, which isn't much more than this one, and it works.

Before you buy, make sure you have a Gameboy Plug in. The old Gameboy Advance and some other systems require a different type of plug-in, so this will not work with them.

Based on the other reviews, it appears that this is a good product. My Gameboy Advanced SP was not charged at all by this. I tried charging for 3 hours and then overnight. My car charger charges the Gameboy perfectly, so I know it's a good device. br>br>If the other reviews are accurate, I may have just received a lemon. Thankfully, Amazon makes returning items a breeze.

I had a couple of old, original Nintendo DSs that I planned to give to my kids to play with, but I couldn't find a charger for them. This worked flawlessly, and I'm now able to charge both of them at the same time.

I despise the fact that if the charger isn't the original, the 4-year warranty is voided. wheeler to drive backwards rather than forwards, and the system's settings cannot be changed.

We had an old GBA, and it was perfect for it. We were able to give the 4-year-old the impression of being a big kid because of this. Hahaha.
