Dreamgear 3-Piece Stylus Pack for Nintendo 3DS

As has been said by others, There is a lack of quality control on these. The tips pop off, and they're either difficult to expand or won't expand at all. The funny thing is that they sent me four packages instead of three. So, if you only got one or two, please accept my apologies if I accidentally took one of yours: However, I would have preferred to have just one of these that worked well and was of higher quality rather than four of these:.

These were fairly simple to dismantle. The first day it was open, the tip of one of them fell off. I used super glue to reattach it and keep it in place. The two metal pieces then came apart the next day, which I didn't glue together because the retractability is the whole point.

We twisted, pulled, and looked for hidden buttons but couldn't get them to expand; the short version is functional but unwieldy. Unfortunately, they were not worth the money I paid for them. They appear to work just as well with the plastic ones. I'm remorseful for spending so much money on them.

It resembles a Nintendo 3DS stylus in appearance, but in every other way it is inferior. The pen is not at all smooth in its extension. The pen also fits too tightly in the back compartment, making it very easy to get jammed. The clip became jammed the first time I used it. Finally, the writing nib has a rough plastic edge and is not smooth. It's obvious that these were not made with care. On every level, this is a poor product.

The image on this page, as well as the description, are both inaccurate. I was expecting a set of expandable stylii for the Nintendo 3DS. Instead, I got a pack of cheaply made stylii that only fit the NEW 3DS, which is an entirely different device; they do expand, so I haven't had the issue that some other customers in the comments have, but this product DOES NOT fit in the stylus compartment of the old-style 3DS. 3DS is the model. Beverly S. was the one who placed my order. Gill- You might be able to get a better deal from someone else.

The small ridge at the top aids in this process. This is a nice stylus to have. The top of the stylus has a small ridge that helps it stay in the 3DS stylus slot. The fact that it can be resized is nice, but since styluses are already small, I haven't found much use for it.
