It was exactly what I was looking for. I used to be able to play the 3DS for about 30 minutes before getting cramps in my hands. I haven't had any hand cramps since I started using this attachment. It has a pleasant feel to it, and the quality of the plastic is comparable to that of a PS4 remote. It gives the 3DS a little more heft. This item is only compatible with the original 3DS XL (LL in Japan). It was not designed to work with the new 3DS XL or 2DS XL. It is relatively simple to distinguish between systems. The new systems include a thumb stick in addition to the four buttons on the right side, whereas the old 3DS XL, for which this product was designed, did not. Remove the stylus before snapping this on, and it will fit perfectly. I compared it to the Nintendo Switch, and the 3DS with this attachment is, in my opinion, more comfortable to hold than the Switch. It was a good investment.

This is something I don't regret at all; I was having a lot of issues with my 3DS, primarily because I'm not used to the console's size. I was developing severe finger cramps as a result of it, which made playing games like Super Smash Brothers or Monster Hunter extremely painful. I wasn't sure if this was the best buy at first, especially after reading some of the reviews about how difficult it was to take off and how there was no place to put your stylus. br>br>As a result, I completely dismiss those remarks. I adore this grip, and it's a shame Nintendo didn't think of it first: it fits snugly, feels comfortable and natural to grip in your hands, and while you might not think you'd use a stand, it makes perfect sense if you just want to set it down for a while. Many people have given it a lower rating due to how difficult it is to remove from the console, but I didn't have much trouble with it. I can easily pull it off if I concentrate on one side first, then the other. br>br>The only thing I have any reservations about is the purchasing process, but that's only because you won't get accurate shipment/arrival dates, in my experience. It was supposed to arrive at the end of June, according to my paperwork. Instead, if my memory serves me correctly, it arrived within a week. br>br>Five out of five stars. This is something I don't regret buying, and if you can get past the fact that it's 'difficult' to remove or that there's no place for a stylus, it's a great buy. You, too, I believe, will not be sorry.

It's as if you're using a real gamepad. However, there are a few flaws to be aware of: Pressing the L and R buttons can be inconvenient due to the shape and location of your hands, and it will take some practice to get used to them, and 2. It can be difficult to remove, but the security tabs in the back can be safely removed if you work slowly and patiently with them. (It also prevents you from using your stylus. ) ) Personally, I don't find any of the disadvantages to be particularly bothersome, and I would recommend this product. br>br>Edit: The distance between the L and R buttons has become so familiar to me that I no longer notice it. It's ideal for Sm4sh gameplay.

I have small hands, and this grip has been quite comfortable for me (much more so than playing the 3DS without it). Unfortunately, the attachment itself blocks the stylus storage hole, which is a major flaw. This is especially aggravating because the grip is firmly attached to the device, and you won't want to remove it every time you need to use the stylus. Not only that, but because styluses are so small, you're much more likely to lose them if you just leave them out of the system. It makes playing on the 3DS a chore for long games that require a lot of stylus input, such as Professor Layton. That said, the 3DS is a very uncomfortable system to hold, and this grip makes it a lot more bearable to hold, especially for difficult games like Mario Kart, which require a good grip to play without getting hand cramps, and I think it raises it a notch just for that. The grip is excellent, but there is one minor flaw.

jpg. The size and shape are ideal. It feels like I'm holding an Xbox 360 controller thanks to the grip. I only wish the back locking tabs were a little easier to release so you could remove the grips by hand; I have to use a flathead screwdriver to pop the locking tabs. Another request is a stylus holder, as the built-in one is blocked. Still, for the price, I'm pleased with the design and would purchase another if they made the minor changes that I suggested.
