I bought a clear case, and it fits perfectly; this one should as well.
No, it's exclusive to the new 3DS XL.
It's not hard plastic, but it does the job of protecting, and it's not sticky, though it does provide a good grip.
Unfortunately, this case does not fit older 3DS XL models and is only compatible with the New 3DS XL model, as stated in the description. On the plus side, I would recommend Hori's Duriflex cases, particularly for the older models. I hope this information is useful.

I rarely write product reviews, but in this case, I'm grateful. I purchased the Yo-Yo. kai wants one because it's cute (duh), and it's a bright, opaque red that looks great with the darker red New 3ds XL. It gives the machine a little more heft and, in my opinion, makes it easier to hold. br>br>When this system was first released, I purchased it. The equipment is fantastic - This is without a doubt my favorite. I've owned almost every handheld system ever made, including the original 3ds. br>ON THE OTHER HAND. My machine's paint job is a complete flop. I'm not sure if Nintendo addressed the problem in later versions, but DAAAANG. Peeling on the top, as well as discoloration on the sides where you hold it (see photos). br>br>If your setup looks anything like mine, this cover is a must-have. Yes, as others have noted, the case's bottom half does not grip the system as tightly as it could. However, a strip of double-sided tape can easily be used to secure the plastic to the 3DS's bottom. Please believe me when I say that It will only bother you if you are extremely OCD.
Fits his 3DS XL perfectly and has proven to be useful in the event of drops or falls. I'd recommend it! Excellent value for money and a superior product!.
I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the series or a child who enjoys Anime and the series.
This was a gift from my husband to my daughter, and she loves it! It's been on for a while and so far it's kept it safe.

It's simple to install and stays put. Oh, this is so cute, I bought it for my 3DXL. It's beautiful, easy to put in, and it stays in place.
