It fits nicely on my second-generation Nintendo DS, with just a smidgeon of room left over for something a little bigger. The 2DS XL is, according to my understanding, larger than the 2DS. These cases, as their name implies, have less than 3/4 of an inch of space and are primarily designed for use with the Nintendo 2DS.
It fits in a shell when the 2DS is in it.
This case was made specifically for the Nintendo 2DS. You aren't going to like the Nintendo 3DS.

I really wanted to give this case five stars, but there are a couple of issues. The pockets were far too small to adequately hold the games. Although it would be better for Switch games, I was able to get the DS. Games for the Nintendo 3DS that require some stretching. Furthermore, the zipper is slightly crooked, which may cause the case to collapse in on itself in the future. But for $10, I can't say I'm disappointed. It is capable of completing the task.
My children were the recipients of this purchase. It's perfect for their needs and keeps all of their belongings in one place. My only complaint is that it isn't quite big enough, but it does the job.
This is fantastic! The 2DS, charger, and a few games all fit perfectly in this case. It's ideal for on-the-go gaming. The case is well-made and colorful. Many cases do not have enough room for the charger; however, this is more suitable for trips.
The games didn't fit, and the storage areas were too small. If you don't want to put your games in it and just want to use it as a hard case, it appears to be quite durable.
It's a good size for the game player, and it comes with a few games.
That's exactly what we were looking for.
