5 ft long
Yes, it is possible.
I bought it for my 2DS and put it on my husband's 3DS, which is a Super Mario and Luigi 3DS. You should be able to use it with your 3DS without any issues.

Velcro straps were included for tying it!.
This is exactly what I was looking for as someone who owns a portable charging station.
They are well-made and appear to be of good quality. The 3DS plug end fits snugly into the device and makes charging the battery simple and quick. The 3DS can be charged while playing a game thanks to the 5' length. This is an excellent product.
They come in a pack of two, so you'll always have a spare. There is no power unit to burn out, and it can be plugged into any bank or charger, making it a far superior alternative to a replacement cord. I'm so glad I found these for my 3-year-old daughter's Nintendo 3DS. Over the course of three months, we went through two plug-in chargers and lost one. These cables are easy to use, durable, and a good deal.
We lost his other Ds XL charger, so I bought this for him. We were surprised that we got two for such a low price! Amazing! It charges to perfection. Excellent for travel.
It also goes with my son's midnight blue handheld. Even though he won't use both at the same time, it's nice that it comes with two. He's keeping it as a back-up. I'll post an update later to let you know how it's holding up. 5 stars.
When you've only had a product for a day, it's difficult to tell how long it will last. They have a nice appearance and are capable of charging the 3DS. This is a seller from whom I would buy more products.
It works exactly like the official 3DS charger and fits my 3DS perfectly, but where the USB Type-A connector is located, it is not compatible. It's extremely tight when A is plugged into an adapter or a USB port. I'm not sure if this will improve with use or if it will always be tight, but inserting the USB Type-A cable is difficult. A link between two things. I've tried it with a variety of USB ports.
