The best method by far for cleaning anything from screens as well as improving touchscreen response has been to use these. Take a piece and tear it off. The screen is left dry after they clean and not wet for a couple of days so we're avoiding the mess of having to wipe it with a cloth afterwards. Upon drying, the cleaning agent does not leave any stains. I bought this to clean the screen, palm rest, keyboard, bezel, and lid surface of my 17" Dell Precision Mobile workstation and I must say that I'm impressed with it. The temperature should not be too hot or too cold. As for the screen, it cleaned it surprisingly well, but it also cleaned off all the dust off of the palm rest, touch pad buttons, bezel and lid outer surfaces. Besides isopropyl alcohol, I should have used something else to remove oily deposits that came off my hands in the past few years. The thing that made it look new again was using just a touch of a cleaning agent besides alcohol. A must-have for your library.
