Questions & Answers
Dear Customer, Thank you for your interest in Maite's product! In response to your question, yes, the DVD player works in Australia and reads AU discs; however, please note that because it is a North American model, it will require an additional power adaptor to work in Australia. However, we are pleased to inform you that Maite will be releasing our first DVD player in Australia (Amazon.com). We hope to see you within the next month!
Thank you for reaching out to Maite, and we'd be delighted to assist you! Thank you! We believe it will not connect to a laptop, but it will connect to a PC Monitor with HDMI or RCA inputs.
Thank you for reaching out to us with your query. External keys cannot be used to reset the DVD player; the remote control is the only way to do so. However, since you mentioned that the DVD setup display screen is not visible on the TV screen, you can try aiming the remote control at the DVD player and pressing the setup button again. If the TV screen still won't come up, try pressing different function keys to see if there's anything wrong. If that's the case, please get in touch with us and we'll help you out. With sincere gratitude,

This DVD player is for those on a tight budget. The image is adequate for the price. It's the remote that's causing the issue. There are no buttons for pausing or playing the game. How do you sell a remote that doesn't have a PAUSE or PLAY button, for example? Yes, after watching a few movies, I discovered that the ENTER key also serves as a PAUSE/PLAY button - Nonetheless.
Pros: br>It's a reasonable price. br>It can play DVDs, including those that have been recorded by the user. br>It can play some AVI files from the USB port. br>br>Cons: br>The description is deceptive; it claims to be able to play MP4 files, the most popular video format, but it does not. "The appropriate format code for mp4 should be (," Seller says. MP4V/. MOV) with a resolution of 720*480 pixels. ", which, in fact, isn't an MP4 standard file. MOV is an Apple video format. br>The description is deceptive, and I would not have bought it if I had known it couldn't play standard MP4 files. br>Until now, I've only been able to play DivX AVI files. br>br>Conclusion: br>br> br>I'm returning this because it was purchased as a gift for someone who needed to play MP4 files.
I MEAN IT. DO NOT. In my entire life, I have never seen or heard such poor picture or sound quality!! This is one of the most regrettable purchases I've ever made. I'm not sure what I expected, but it wasn't this grainy, hazy image. The sound is distorted and crackles. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Thank goodness, I'll be able to get it back!.
This DVD player appealed to me because it was advertised as "region free. " To put it another way, it's supposed to work in all areas. Regrettably, this is not the case. I live in Virginia, USA, and I had no trouble connecting the DVD player to my smart TV (I used an HDMI cable with my TV setup). When I tried to use a DVD, it gave me a read error. I tried at least ten different DVDs, and they all gave me the same error code. After reading the terrible instructions, I tried the few troubleshooting "tips" they provided, as well as changing some of the settings with the remote, but nothing worked. I quickly repackaged the item in its box and returned it. I wish Amazon would compensate me for the 45 minutes I wasted attempting to get this shoddy product to work.
I haven't checked all of the regions, but it works fine with my Dr. Who DVDs and my American films.
As a result, I switched to a different DVD player to watch the movie. I went to watch a different DVD on this player about a month later and experienced the same problem. I tried it again, and it was the same. After about 20 minutes, it became stuck and wouldn't play any further than the previews. Since it was past the Amazon return window, I contacted the seller, who has been giving me the runaround for over two weeks. Returning to Amazon, but I'd advise staying away from this brand in the future because it isn't working and they refuse to stand behind their product.
I own a Sony DVD player and a Sony Blu-ray player. DVD players that are Blu-ray. I can't get either of them to play a normal-sized old TV show; women look fat, men look like NFL linebackers, cars look like lemos, and horses look like they're built for two. One of the units also has an RCAx3 cable, which I use to get a good picture; however, not all TVs have these plug-ins. In any case, this player produces a fantastic image. I would have given it five stars if it hadn't 10%- I have to restart the unit about 80% of the time because the picture is not right. It could begin with a half-finished image on the bottom or a picture that is too tall. It's a 12-minute show. It takes 13 seconds, which is quicker than my Sonys.
It simply works, and it works very well. The sound quality is excellent, and it can play even the most damaged discs. I'm hoping it will last a long time, but we'll see.
