The screen works well with a Raspberry Pi and I plan on using it to monitor the levels of water, propane, and freshwater in our motorhome. I will also install some waterproof USB cameras on the outside of the motorhome so that I can see everything without leaving the safety of our motorhome since I am using it with my Raspberry Pi. Also, it will allow me to monitor our air conditioning and heating systems when we are away from home because we have a WiFi hotspot. During our travels, we keep two small rescue dogs and are concerned that they could be hurt. There is a lot of detail on the screen and I like The best screen you can find for the money, IMO.

In the box and in the manual, OSOYOO is listed, but on the power on screen, it is listed as "OSOYOO" This message comes up stating KEDEI (I'm ok with that). There is a difference in resolution between 1366x768 and 1024x600 (not a big deal for me). It does not come with assembly instructions, but you can figure it out by looking at one of the pictures in the Amazon listing - It works well with a touch screen - It is important to be careful when handling the connectors because they are soldered on the board with no additional support (to be expected). -They will not put up with abuse - As for the cables provided, they are "ok". But for the price, I cannot complain*- I had extra screws on both of mine. What is longevity? I have no clue, but another user reported that it failed in two months (I will post the result).
The Raspberry Pi project I am working on requires the purchase of this item. A good job was done by this software. One of the things that annoys me is that the backlight can only be adjusted from a button on the display. This button may be nearly impossible to access if the Pi and display are enclosed in a case. In addition to 5 stars, I would have given 5 stars if the backlight could be changed under the program.
After the power connector broke off on the board, I was very pleased with the display. A power connector is provided on both sides Two options are presented 1) display only, and 2) display and touch screen power. For the past 8 months I've been using this monitor as a sensor panel monitor in conjunction with Aida64. I had no problem setting it up and it worked out of the box. There is no software to install, it simply plugs in and works. Because even the dimensions were a dead nutt, I was able to design and print a desk holder that fits This is a great option if you want to mount a sensor panel to monitor the performance of your PC.
The item you receive should be handled with care. Opening my package and finding the screen frame broken, I can clearly tell that the item is not new. And it's evident that another customer has handled and touched it. The display I ordered was new and not a second-hand one, which was disappointing. I would have ordered a used one with a lower price if I had wanted one.
My Raspberry Pi 4 and Windows 10 PC both work well with this screen. A good screen and resolution are on board, as well as a working touch screen. You should definitely give it a try.
