When I first purchased the eight-camera system, installation was a breeze. But it came with four cameras, which I figured would suffice if I placed one on each side of the house. Wrong. I had to buy 4 more cameras to go with it because it is so cool that I did 100% of the install all the way to making my own CAT6 cables because it is so A 500' spoil, crispers, and connectors were purchased. It was simple to complete the task. A professional-looking installation takes time, but it's well worth it. So, when my eight ports were depleted, I decided I needed more. This 16-camera system was almost ready to use right out of the box. You will need to set up the passwords and a few other minor details, but this is not a major undertaking. It performed just as well as the eight-camera system. One thing to keep in mind is that The cameras will appear on the monitor in the order in which they were plugged in. So,. If you want them to be grouped together in a specific order, make sure they're plugged in in that order. The 8-camera system lacked an internal fan, whereas the 16-camera system does. As a result, depending on where you put it, you'll hear it. Mine is hidden behind a dresser in our master bedroom, and it was undetectable even with the 8 system. However, now that the 16 is available, a cunning burglar may be able to hear it and have the foresight to take it with him. Maybe I'm exaggerating when I give a bad guy too much credit. They would not be criminals if they were truly intelligent. As a result, I keep a small fan running in the bedroom, which now drowns out the noise of the NVR fan. One feature I'd like to see REOLINK implement is a fast forward search mode. Slow motion is available, but searching must be done using the bottom-of-screen slide bar. You can only slide it for a few minutes at a time, and I've done it and found what I was looking for. But imagine being able to fast forward 2X or 4X the speed. Also, once you've completed all of your setup, 90% of your functions, adjustments, and changes can be completed from a laptop using the downloadable free app such as naming the camera view, setting up alarms to email you, adjusting sensitivity, and turning on audio. Also keep in mind that these cameras are extremely sensitive. I set the sensitivity between 1 and 2 for the ones that email me when they are triggered. They go up to about 50, which is a lot more than you'll ever need. When bugs fly in front of the cameras, you'll get false triggers, but if you lower the sensitivity and reduce the trigger area, it shouldn't be too bad. On the approach to my front door, for example, I only have one grid line active, and anyone approaching my door must pass through that area. It was a huge success. I also created a separate free gmail account for the NVR, which receives emails when it is activated. br>However, I do wish it came with a larger hard disk drive. If you record audio and video from all eight cameras, you'll get about five hours of footage. 6 solid days of recording These can be upgraded to 6TB, I believe. I might do that later, or you could use a SATA cable to connect an external drive, which I believe has no size restrictions. Overall, I am very pleased with this system, and the mobile app is excellent.

For over a year, I looked into cameras and NVRs before settling on the Reolinks. I can't express how much I appreciate the simplicity. I was able to run the feeds to all of my bedrooms and the basement using an HDMI splitter and 100 feet of HDMI cable. The nighttime shots were taken with no external lighting other than the cameras' infrared emitters. Because I have multiple cameras, they overlap, which aids in lighting.

Reolinks 8 and 16 camera systems are sold and installed by us in large numbers. It's very clear. The phone app's usability is fantastic! We've been installing Reolink systems for some of our clients for almost two years and haven't had a single service call or issue with them! We strongly advise our residential and commercial customers to use Reolink!.

Reolink is a simple to use and set up system. The NVR performs admirably and provides simple playback options. I'm not the most computer savvy person, but I had no trouble setting up this product, which is very high-end for a plug-and-play system. Also excellent is the video quality. I'm working with a total of five RLC-based systems. 410, as well as (1) RLC- 420.
