Wyze cams are compatible
5/5

Note: This is for the number two. 12mm 1/2. F1 with a 5" HD 3MP display. br>br>Pros: br>br>
- The threading is compatible with the Wyze Cam v2 (and v3). br>- Can be snugly screwed all the way down (no gluing required)br>- After it was installed, it was simple to adjust the zoom and focus.
- Locking screws come in handy a lot. br>br>Cons (all wyze cam related, not the lens)br>- To install, you'll need to dismantle the Wyze cam (which is simple to do with just a screwdriver). br>- Because the old lens is superglued in place, removing it is difficult.
- After installing the lense, the Wyze cam cover no longer fits (minor issue).

Despite the vignetting on a PI HQ 1/3" sensor camera, this camera is a great value
4/5

The 6- For $24, the 60mm 1/3" CS lens is an excellent buy. However, it is far from perfect. br>br>The PI HQ camera has a 1/3" sensor. However, the image suffers from noticeable vignetting for a good 40% of the zoom range. (The 4 stars are due to the fact that it claims to be a 1/3" camera. ) )br>br>The vignetting is less of an issue when you zoom in. br>br>I use mine to zoom in as much as possible from a distance of two meters. I was quite satisfied with 4' away to film benchwork assembly activity for tutorials. When zooming wide, however, a 1/3" sensor produces significant distortion around the edges. The PI HQ camera is similar to that.

The Wyze Cam v2 now has depth of field
5/5

I reattached my cover, but there was a small gap around the edges. The night mode, as well as the IR LEDs and sensors, are still operational. It is simple to concentrate. br>br>UPDATE: June 20, 2021 br>br>Pro Tip: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "innovative Installing this lens does not necessitate disassembling the entire WyzeCam! After completing a few of these, I discovered this incredibly simple method. br>1) On the front of the camera, you'll notice a rubber gasket between the original lens and the black plastic surround. 2) Place a slotted screwdriver between the lens and the black plastic surround. The rubber gasket must be pushed in place. Don't be concerned; simply take it slowly and steadily. br>3) Using the original lens as a lever, pry the black plastic piece off. It'll fall out easily. br>4) Remove the original lens with a pair of pliers. Because it's glued in, it'll withstand some pressure. I've done it a couple of times and have never lost a camera in the process. I did lose a camera when the ribbon cables frayed while disassembling one, so in my experience, it's safer to keep the camera intact and force the lens to unscrew by breaking the glue with some force. br>5) Replace the Xenocam lens with the new one. It'll be almost perfect if you screw it in until the zoom set screw touches the white case; depending on the range of view, you may need to remove the first set screw and continue screwing. br>br>It may sound intimidating, but once you gain the confidence to use a little force, it's actually quite simple. The difference in image quality is astounding. Right now, I'm using about a half-dozen and loving every second of it.

There is no infrared filter on this lens, which is a good thing
4/5

This lens is quite good; I particularly enjoy the aperture and zoom controls. I would have given it five stars if the description stated that this lens does not come with an IR filter (which it should). This works great with my Ribcage-modified Yi 4k camera, but unless you're shooting at night, you'll probably want to use the IR filter.

On the SDI CrazyFire cameras, it works perfectly
5/5

I'd been using a couple of CrazyFire SDI cameras for a while and was looking for a lens with a bit more zoom. This lens does exactly what I needed it to do, and I'm very pleased with it, especially considering how inexpensive it was. I'm planning on purchasing a few more.

On a Wyze Cam, it works perfectly
5/5

This lens is great! I used it to replace the wide angle lens on a Wyze camera. The picture quality is excellent, and the variable focal lengths make using Zoom for violin lessons much more enjoyable. I hacked up the Wyze Cam case to keep the mount, but the back ring is still accessible.

Image that is unusually sharp
5/5

On my D-SLR, I replaced the lens. When you use this with a 939 security camera, the image quality is incredible, even in low light. Because adjusting focus is difficult due to its sensitivity, make sure you have a clear view of your video stream in real time.
