It depends on the size of the photo board; I've used it for a run Cam and a hero. If anything, you should just do a run camp split because the fault is that the field of view is only 130, which is more than enough.
We believe it will work with the GoPro Hero.
Yes, it's a fantastic solution.

It functions flawlessly, but it is not easy to replace for a novice. Watch YouTube videos about your particular GP (if that's what you're looking for). Even so, there were some annoying physical differences between mine and every other H3W video I found in the vids I watched for my (ostensibly) specific model. This made my removal much more difficult, and I ended up having to make a less-than-smooth repair to a bonding strap that didn't behave like the ones in the videos. But those are camera issues, not lens design issues. br>br>To do the final focus, get an HDMI adapter. The focal length or overall height (which I didn't measure to compare) is one design difference between this lens and an OEM. My OEM lens was at a height of 4. 25mm above the inner sheath (a feature not available on YouTube cams). The replacement lens had to be recessed by about a tenth of an inch. To get good focus, go 5mm beneath the sheath. Tips: br>br> br>Watch the videos several times if you can. br>An HDMI adapter is a must-have. br>A 150-foot target with distinguishing features is preferred. br>A larger screen allows you to concentrate more easily. br>Ask a friend or family member to assess your concentration. br>CHECK THAT THE CMOS SENSOR IS CLEANbr>CHECK THAT THE CMOS SENSOR IS CLEANbr>CHECK THAT THE CMOS SENSOR IS CLEANbr>CHECK THAT THE CMOS SENSOR IS CLEANbr>CHECK THAT THE CMOS SENSOR IS CLEANbr>CHECK THAT THE CMOS SENSOR IS CLEANbr>CHECK THAT THE CMOS SENSOR IS CLEAN Otherwise, you'll have to disassemble it once more. br>By placing a rubber band against the lens, you can get a better grip on the lens while focusing. If you decide to go this route, DO NOT PUT THE PLUMBERS TAPE ON BACKWARDS. IF THE CMOS SENSOR IS OF QUESTIONABLE CLEANLINESS, DO NOT PUT PLUMBERS TAPE ON AT ALL. Any dust on the CMOS sensor will be highlighted by the setting sun and intentionally creating lens flares. br>On the sensor, some videos show it being cleaned with a cotton swab. DO NOT USE ANYTHING BUT LINT-FREE ITEMS ON THE SENSOR.
As stated in the description, this lens is NOT for a Hero 3 camera. For the Hero 3 camera, this mount is incorrect. As far as threading the lens into the old bracket is concerned, it will function properly. However, you must focus it, which is a pain because the GoPro 3 does not support full red on the app's live view. In addition, the lens quality is poor when compared to factory lenses, and I don't believe these are IR-blocking. The glare is awful, and I'm not pleased with it at all. It was set up by me. But, as they say, you get what you pay for; I could have paid an extra ten dollars for a guaranteed correct lens, and I should have.
This lens was purchased as a neat little replacement for the stock lens of the HS1177 FPV camera for my quadcopter, as it appears to be the case for the majority of people. br>br>In fact, I was already running a 2. The 5mm lens has a much wider field of view than the stock 2mm lens. 8mm lens. But, after hearing so much about the GoPro lens, I decided to give it a try. What were the outcomes? It's amazing. br>br>The biggest difference was the wider field of view. With this lens, doing power loops is a lot of fun because it drastically reduces the amount of time you spend in the loop without being able to see anything. You don't even have to be halfway through the loop to see the object/ground again because the FOV is so large. I also discovered that having a larger field of view made lining up small gaps a lot easier. I'm not sure why, but being able to see everything around me while shooting between two branches in a tree gave me a huge boost in confidence that I could actually shoot the gap properly. Finally, having a larger field of view makes landing the quad a lot easier. Landing isn't a big deal, but there are times when you have too much camera tilt and need to spiral down to a landing rather than coming in nice and slow. When I was trying to level out, the FOV on this lens was so large that I found myself flying backwards. Take a moment to consider that. In order to fly backwards, I'll need to use my 2. I'd have to be facing the sky, with no view of the ground, with a 5mm lens. Flying backwards with the GoPro lens allows you to see everything. br>br>In addition, the colors from this lens appear to be much more pleasing. I'm not sure how to put it, but everything just feels *right.
br>In my opinion, this is by far the best upgrade I've ever made to my quad for less than $20. The only thing that comes close is switching from dual to three bladed props. That's how big the jump is. It's the equivalent of going from a 3 to a 4 volt battery. My only regret is that I did not purchase this lens earlier. So stop reading my rant and go out and buy it; you won't be sorry!.
I'm using the AS100V and I'm very happy with it. Because Sony wants $180 for the lens, I had to give it a try. Up front. This lens is not compatible with your device. You can't screw this lens in far enough to dial in the focus because of a limiter inside the lens housing. I bought a $12 dremel tool from Harbor Freight and ground it down to nothing. After that, I cleaned out the lens casing's grooves to make sure there was no debris. Use compressed air, as well as something sharp to clean out the grooves. The lens screws right in, and you can adjust it to your liking. br>br>Also, the product's customer service was excellent! Vicdozia customer service found a helpful video that walked me through the entire process. User ///Sixth Gear uploaded the video. br>br>Take your time, save your screws, and don't force any of the parts to come off; everything comes off easily with tweezers. br>br>I intend to purchase some O- To make this water resistant once more, I used rings. So, after I install those and give this thing some water, I'll probably update this post.
I just received this in the mail and I'm already smitten. There is no major fish eye effect, which is present in some other wide angle lenses. br>br>I put it on a Foxeer HS1177 camera, and the results have already improved my flying. I would strongly recommend this product and intend to purchase more.
