I did use it on a crawler, to be sure. To help with the jello, I did have to create a TPU mount. But, on the whole, it was a pleasant experience.
Yes, my friend, this one is IR sensitive; however, we also have an IR blocked version, which can be found here: ASIN: Amazon has it listed as B01F381J9Y.
Well, it doesn't output any power; instead, it sends a video signal to the video transmitter (vtx, which is a separate component because it isn't an All-in-One). one). If you're talking about input, I'd recommend 5 volts because anything less may cause it to cut out.
If you kept it separate, you could. Although, at 3, this camera would be less than ideal. With a sensor optimized for 2, the fish eye would be nearly impossible to fly. I normally wouldn't fly in a plane with fewer than two passengers. 3 until I had a chance to play with this camera

Previous CMOS cameras, such as the Runcam Eagle, had poor color rendition at best and complete image washout at worst; this happened most often when you least expected it, such as 3 feet above a grassy field while racing. br>br>The Caddx Ratel does not have any of the bad habits that those second-class citizens do. CMOS cameras of the third generation are available. I was certain it was a CCD camera when I first used it. Rich color, no washout, and enough detail to see power lines and small branches and stay clear of them. All of my Runcam Eagle and Eagle 2 cameras are being replaced by the Ratel. Caddx, you did a fantastic job!.
The camera does not appear to be what is described in the description. This isn't the genuine article. The lens is convex, indicating that it is non-reflective. Since new cameras' lenses are flat (I took two), originality is a must. 1)br>I already own a camera with which to compare. There's even a difference in the way the product is packaged. Take a pass.
The micro was a perfect fit for my Eachine Novice 3 quad, and I'm very happy with the upgrade. The image on the goggles was clearer, giving me more confidence to fly it than before, when it darkened when facing the sun and I couldn't see what was approaching on the darker horizon. Also, the image quality on the onboard dvr is better. I had to go out and buy a 1 and solder it together. My Novice 3 has a 25mm male plug, so everything is fine. It comes with a camera connector that can be soldered directly to the quad or, in my case, a male 1. Plug size is 25mm.
5" build. The first crash resulted in a broken leg. It wasn't a major accident. Nothing was physically damaged, including the camera, but it was rendered useless. I tried a different camera to see if it was something else, but it worked fine. br>br>The picture is good, the price is good, but the camera is very fragile; I have other quads with other brands of cameras on them that have survived much worse crashes with no problems.
Yes, I used a 5v source to power it! I had it on a couple of other occasions on the bench to tweak some settings, and on the third or fourth plug-in, it died. Is there a fire inside? I haven't even put it on my TP3 yet! Just watch out for Caddx cameras' quality control.
This is by far the most attractive compact disc I've ever encountered. The image quality is outstanding. I also like that it has a full-size lens, which helps it stand out from most other micro-sized ccd cameras. I'm going to buy more of these because they're so good.
I've used this camera before and it's fantastic, but sending me an open box USED old eos2 with the worst picture quality possible is inexcusable. I understand that mistakes happen, but I believe this was an attempt to deceive me.
Holy cow! This is, without a doubt, my favorite camera. I'm a devoted Foxeer user, but my build necessitated the use of a micro. I'm used to having a wide horizontal and vertical field of view. Micros from the rest of the world come in a set of one. Although 8mm is a nice lens, it is not suitable for flying. This was the first micro that didn't have just one but two processors. There's a first filter, but there's also a second! What? That is incredible! br>br>If I had to pick one flaw, it would be that it is a cmos rather than a ccd.
