This item is not intended for use with a telephone. The camera, on the other hand, functions admirably. I used this camera to build a remote camera spotting system for long range shooting, up to 2000 yards. I purchased a transmitter and receiver system. That app connects to my phone and works fine. Tablets and laptops can also be used.
From the lens's tip to the camera's back, it's about 30mm.
Yes, I believe the small metal bracket harness is included.
For accurate colors, lenses require an IR cut filter. If you buy a FPV lens, it comes with it, but if you buy generic home monitoring lenses, you'll have to add it yourself.

I currently have this installed on a 5" quad and it is performing admirably. However, I have two complaints. First, due to the larger lens, I get a lot of glare when facing the sun. With cameras with smaller lenses, I don't have this problem. br>Two, after three or four hours of flying, the lens and lock nut came loose, making it difficult to refocus. br>br>Apart from that, as long as you're not looking directly into the sun, the picture is pretty good when the lens is focused and clean.
I couldn't find a better camera for $20 for the price and size. br>br>The picture quality is excellent for the price, and my only real criticism is that it has a tendency to wash out in certain lighting conditions. If I wasn't using this camera as an auxiliary camera to look straight down from my F7 FC equipped plane, I might deduct a star for it. br>br>Other than that, it's been a great little camera for the price, and I haven't had any problems with it. I would definitely recommend this camera for a budget beginner build if you're not sure how into the hobby you are yet, as you won't lose much if you decide to walk away.
This is a nice camera that works well in both bright and low light situations (sunset or night). The camera is well-made and includes all of the necessary accessories for a variety of installation scenarios (as shown in the photos). With the included 5-button pad, it's simple to get to the camera's menu. It's also very simple to customize the OSD to your liking. br>br>Once installed and in the quad, the picture quality is excellent for a $25 television. 00 camera, or even more expensive cameras. It's far superior to the generic cameras that came standard with some of my quads. I prefer this camera to the Caddx FPV Camera Turbo EOS V2 because of its performance and build quality. br>br>One disadvantage is the lens's size, which is 17. Because it's 32mm wide, it might be too small for some frames. Aside from that, it's one of the best cameras under $30 on the market.
I bought it because of the price for the picture's quality and size. I installed it on my old Inductrix whoop and it works perfectly! It allows you to see ghost branches, and the size has little bearing on the flight time. I lost about a minute of flight time due to the camera and vtx, so I'm now averaging 4 minutes. For any micro drone project, this is a must-have!.
It's a decent camera; it's not the best, but it's not the worst either. I might get another, but I've been on a ratel kick lately.
Hawk 5 is ready to use after reversing the red and yellow to match the Hawk 5.
Wide range, good picture for day and night flying, no problems after crashing a few times. I'll buy it again because it's a good camera.
This is a much better picture than my freestyle drone's stock camera. In that department, it was my first upgrade. The lens cover is the only thing missing. 😕.
