Its quality, video clarity, and sturdiness are unbeatable for the price. They're Starlight rated, but in the dark, you can't see much. They're great in low light and twilight, but they're not as good as night vision. Color saturation can be an issue (dark hues, red/orange), but you can simply reduce the contrast. This is still my favorite fpv camera.
When I watched a friend fly with several of these in his quads, I could tell that this camera was far superior to the mini camera I had in my Armattan Rooster. The other day, I flew the Caddx for the first time for a full day. The three main advantages are that the color is much better, it is much easier to see those leafless twigs/limbs that appear in the winter, and the view is often better when facing the sun. In one of the locations where I fly, you must land to the south, which means you will be facing the sun in the winter. When I tried to land with my other cameras, I was almost blinded, but with the Caddx Ratel, I can now see where I'm going even when facing directly into the sun. In my other quads, I plan to replace the cameras.
1 lens. I purchased the caddx ratel camera to replace a damaged runcam. The caddx ratel camera turns out to be superior. It's worth noting that because it's a micro cam, it doesn't come with a mounting bracket, so you'll need to use an adapter unless you're using it in a quad that already has one. The image quality is excellent, and low-light performance is excellent. We put it to the test in the evening, and it truly makes a difference. I'm thinking about getting a few more of these cams for my other quads. The lens you use is also important. There are two choices, and I chose the second. 1 lens. The other option, according to my sources, is 1. The fisheye effect on what you see (rounded edges in the video) may be caused by the 66 lens. Thank you for your time. br>I hope this was helpful.
This camera, which is mounted on a fast 5" quad, has performed admirably. Fast light transitions are required for my project. This is an excellent film. I was considering using it because of its low cost. I've also got light capabilities, but I haven't used them yet. The colors are a little strange at times (something I've noticed with starlight cams), but overall the image is very nice; it's always highly flyable, and I'm confident in seeing what's ahead. I haven't tampered with the default settings, so I haven't got anything to complain about!.

After a long pause, the order was rearranged. br>br>I didn't get the same camera as the last time. br>br>The finish on this one is terrible - It appears to be of low quality. The camera angle is MUCH MUCH WIDER and DIFFERENT, making it difficult to adjust to. All of my cameras are older models, and I'm having trouble adjusting to the new viewing angle, especially since I only have one drone. br>br>I'm sad because I can't find the original.
Advertised in a deceptive manner. Some people may think I'm a moron for making this remark, but it's truthfully misleading, so I'm sharing it. It's not the photos from the camera; the Caddx ratel version 1 is visible in every photo. However, you will receive the second edition Caddx ratel, which is smaller in size (but still a micro). Some people may think it's cool, but I don't because I wanted Caddx ratel version 1 specifically.
It has a nice back cover that protects the components. The best camera for quickly recovering sun light saturation so you don't go blind while flying. Because color mode works great to distinguish contrast, it is the best low light camera out there. br>Why buy any other camera?.
