When I use my USB camera with a 1/3" image sensor, I get a viewing angle of slightly more than 180 degrees. I tried it again with a USB camera that had a 1/4" image sensor and only got about 110 degrees. br>br>Doesn't filter the light, which is exactly what I was looking for. It'll be used as a surveillance camera.

On a 1/3" sensor, there are real 180° views

On a Chinese 1/3" CMOS sensor ($16 camera), I'm getting about 170° FOV. br>You're doing a fantastic job. Although it is not 180 degrees, I am confident that with a better camera, you will be able to get some fantastic views! With just two IR emitting diodes lightning, I can count my chickens even in complete darkness at a distance of 6 feet.

It works fine, but 1080p may result in dark corners

I used this to replace the stock lens on the 1080p cam B07MNGP7P5br>I'm using this as a backup or trailer, etc. cam, and it works perfectly as I can see the full slightly over 180 edge to edge, but I should note that the corners would be slightly beyond the 180 degree mark, but only by a small amount. It's well worth it to have the entire middle edge to edge.

My 1/3 cmos 2mpbr>1080p board sensor from China worked perfectly. I'm pretty sure I'm getting more than 180 FOV because I can see all the way to the edges and even outside the lens on the very edges, which is plenty for me.
