In order to replace my Wyze Cam v2 with a Wyze Cam v3, I bought this enclosure. There was already a clip-art for the post on my site (Which is great for people who live in condos or apartments that don't allow any alterations to the exterior. enclosure, even though the Wyze Cam v3 is a versatile indoor/outdoor camera, because I wanted the enclosure to match the siding against which it was mounted. This PEF Housing will be used with one of my Wyze Cam V3 cameras. As a result of reading reviews about cameras not being fully waterproof, I purchased this one to try. Our area in South Central PA has experienced a few rain storms It has been running without a hitch. I like the ability to adjust the camera more than with the stock model. Whenever I have no traffic in front of me, I am able to use the camera talk feature from about 20ft away. There is a lot of traffic on the street where I live. In the future, I plan to expand my outdoor coverage by buying a few more. It would be nice if there were more color choices available?.

In the past I used the PEF mounts intended for the Wyze OC for my v3's (which did the job) however these are designed FOR the V3's, which fits much better. A lens hood I find helps to not only prevent water drops from getting on the lenses but also light glare on them. There is no way I would not.

I ordered two more, but I have installed only one so far. Rather than return them, I am going to buy two more. Although the other brand looks exactly the same and is easy to install, it is hard to adjust it so it is Having had the chance to compare these products side-by-side, I am glad that I was able to decide on this brand. I would not purchase any other brand as it works without.
The Wyze Can V3 Mount is different from the Can V2, so it is designed for the new Can. I appreciate how simple and easy it was to install. My only complaint is the presence of very frail screws. During the installation, I broke one of the heads when trying to secure it onto a wooden post. I recommend using different screws, but other than that, it was a simple and fast process.
As for thickness, it seems to be sturdy. A Wyze Cam V3 can be easily installed inside this product and it fits nicely inside the unit. It has been up for about two weeks now and we had some quite strong winds today, yet it hasn't shifted from where it was originally set up. Seeing as how now I know it's a good product, I plan to buy a 3 pack in the near future.

I was able to secure my Wyze Cam 3 with this device My favorite part of this security camera is the hood that protects it from rain (even though I have mine mounted under my roof eaves, so I do not have to worry about the rain).
