Overall, I think the security situation is better than it used to be. There are intermittent errors in the WiFi but these can be rectified and relate to the wifi in more detail. It is sometimes a bit slow/delayed, and that is one of my only complaints. Compared with Ring, it is significantly better than this device. Although it is not as good as Fort Knox, I still need it as a general piece of mine. The video quality is good and there are no monthly charges, so overall this is a better choice In my case no worries in that area, as I usually review the video clips the week before and delete them, so cloud storage is not an issue, I never hit 50%, besides it can be set up to notify you when you go over that point, so no worries in that area as well. Prongs won't reach socket if this is the case. There is a need for modification. It does not allow the prongs from the USB power adapter to reach into the sync socket when using the sync module. Compared to other design similar to this, this one has a few unique features. The design is poor, and it doesn't even mount correctly when it comes My design utilizes a Dremel and utility knife to smooth the opening in order to allow the power adapter to pass through (making it functional like other sync brackets). There is a difference between the picture I received and Two holes for the prongs are located on the outlet portion. The plug has been cut out for it. Adapters that have cutouts that are too small allow their prongs to stick into outlets less than half as long as the prongs themselves. It is due to this that the outlet unit falls out. It is only because I bought two and one was broken that I dropped a star. There were no problems with the fit that others have complained about, though, according to the directions, you need to install it upside down to utilize the wire retainers. The instructions have you install the module with the connector to the left and completely not use the cable retainers, but the module should be mounted with the connector facing up like you see in the picture (or down, depending on which way you mount it on the wall).
