By using the bottom of the two outlets for this, you will have plenty of room for whatever you wish to use the top outlet for.
There is a shorter USB cable that comes with the mount. You will not find a power adapter with it. In the mount, you put the power adapter that comes with the blink system.
Although I don't know if a Module 2 is different from an original form that may have appeared, if it is for a Blink Camera System, it should work.
In any case, the blink module itself clicks into the bracket, so issues like that would not arise. The standard plug that comes with the blink unit does not fit snuggly into the bracket at all in my case. In my case, the bracket basically just hangs on the plug (I have mine in a wall outlet). The entire assembly will most definitely fall if it is plugged into the ceiling and hang by the wire or pull it out and crash to the floor if it is dangled from the ceiling. Using this as an outlet for the ceiling is definitely NOT a good idea.

It hasn't been a problem. It's better to have a wall mount than to not have one. The new installation looks much better as it was installed at the center of our living room, where the entire room can be seen.
The blink cameras that our daughter recommended after she installed them were perfect. Recommend it without reservation.
I love the clean look. The wires are routed properly, which means there are no upside down wires or odd angles at the plug end. It's a plastic bag that I've had for months and it's still strong. I can't speak to durability because it is connected to a socket where there is little traffic. The Blink Cameras come with these. Grab one if you have one. Putting connection to sync module neatly and orderly is well made, inexpensive, and well organized. This device comes with the bracket and the shorter USB power supply cord, so everything fits.
I installed it very cleanly. Cable included. The USB port is on the back. It took a few minutes to install, looks a lot better, and holds the weight just fine. Didn't realize that the USB cable was included, this is helpful since you can route it properly. Adding this to your Blink base is a great idea.
I like the fact that it's simple, is well built, and does exactly what it's supposed to do. had to use one of the high wall plugs in our older home because we had high walls and high plugs in our new house. We took an ugly hanging hub and cord and created an item that looks like it belongs.
Especially with the many electronic devices we use today, it's nice to see someone have thought of a neat and compact way to keep the power supply and power supply cords tidy.
