The purchase date was December 17th 2018. *EDIT* I got it on December 16th. I just got around to fixing it since it stopped working two months ago. I have been busy all this time, but I just got around to it now. When I replaced the old one with the new one, it looked like it was ten years older inside than the ten year old one I removed. According to the instructions I followed to the tee, but there was already one there, so I am confident I did not make a mistake. A toast has been made. At first, the first one was never so wet inside and it was installed in the same manner as before. You just need to be careful.

Over the years, it has seen plenty of use. The trailer has not only been great, but a customer with a very long trailer accidentally sideswiped it, thus the need for a new is not so bad, but you have to punch in a lot of keys before you can get one code to work. 150 is a great start! The instructions are sufficiently clear to ensure that most people won't have any difficulty reading them. I usually have to program in 150 numbers within about an hour. You can choose from about 10,000 codes to pick from after programmating 480 codes using four digits, despite the fact that the device says it can handle 480 codes. My keypad is a great, reliable, affordable, solid product I have used outdoors for many years in all kinds of weather. It is a good idea to cover it in freezing rainy weather, otherwise keypads may freeze up and become unresponsive. You only have to connect a few wires to my gate in order to make it work. The keypad is great and I am extremely satisfied with it. The update for March 12, 2016 is In fact, not too long after I wrote the original article, I was able to repair the keypad, which just needed a case replacement, so I reinstalled it. I have been going for 17 years now and I still love it. You can use this new one only as a backup, although the original will probably outlive you.

As I couldn't locate any parts to my old Linear keypad, I had to buy a new one. This was the complete replacement of the whole unit that I obtained after giving up. Now that my gate is in operation again, I can go about my daily There is an elegant tactility to the feedback, and the devices are illuminated at night. An excellent piece of equipment. Contrary to the garbage I was considering, I am so glad I spent the additional money and got this instead of the cheaper one. Despite its toughness, and since it is made of quality materials, you can tell that it was made well. The work is fantastic and the design is very well thought out. As you press them, the buttons make a beep and glow in the dark so you can see them easily at night. This unit is quite nice.
