Works well and is necessary. The LiftMaster SL3000101U 1 HP Slide Gate Opener matches our commercial grade LiftMaster SL3000101U and works well. Four mounting holes are located on the back of the case housing A key lock is found in the bottom of the case to prevent tampering or unauthorized removal from the surface it is mounted on. The recipe calls for one non-dairy product It comes with a 9-volt lithium battery that you can recharge for five years.
This is a new keypad we installed for our driveway gate in place of an old Having been used for many years, the buttons on the old one were sticking. It's been 2 months since we've had this new one working properly, and we're still not enjoying it. Trying out a new keypad is number two on the list. We can use our remotes as far as 400 feet away without losing functionality. My attempts to contact LiftMaster (Chamberlin) have not yielded any results. The product support department advised switching out the battery, which was completed with a lithium 9volt battery. Afterward, they advised buying a remote antenna. One of my LiftMaster dealers failed to hook up my old gate system when I bought a new one a couple years ago to replace a six month old system that had failed. (Another LiftMaster horror story in its own right). As a result, we hooked it back up and it didn't work. In order to expose the antenna wire in the keypad, I maneuvered the antenna closer to the gate and pulled the antenna wire out of the keypad. Compared to the previous year, the results were only marginally As a result, we moved the antenna closer still and no change happened. There is no obstruction in the way of the antenna, not even 7 feet away In the future, I'll place a sticker on the keypad directing people to move their vehicles 3 to 4 feet away from the keypad and get out to enter the code if the gate doesn't This is a ridiculous thing to have on The product support team told me that LED headlights would affect their openers, but this is much more serious. I wouldn't be too confident when it comes to their products and customer service, especially with recent problems related to LiftMaster equipment and 2 local authorized dealers.
Due to the complicated wiring in my garage, I have 2 garage doors and 2 openers, and discovered the hard way that this keypad only works.
Mounting it to the fence next to the gate required a couple of pieces of flatbar, and it looks like it belonged there all along.
Configuration is easy and installation is straightforward. It was a breeze to set up and program. My impressions of these keypads are so great I wish to replace another keypad with one.
We installed a LiftMaster electronic gate and this part was just what we needed.
It worked well. As for the keypad, it arrived when it was supposed to and was packaged well. In the past, I bought a similar keypad for my gate opener and it worked well. There is just one more in a new location that I need.
Due to the fact that it is not compatible with the gate controller I currently have, I returned the keypad. The return was easy and Liftmaster does sell one that works with my gate controller. If your controller uses security +2, make sure it uses that setting. This keypad can be ordered by choosing 0 from the drop-down list.
