Selected User Reviews For JBL FLIP 5 Portable Speaker IPX7 Waterproof On-The-Go Bundle with WRP Deluxe Hardshell Case (Blue)
This is amazing. A bose soundlink mini we'd had for 5 years and a lot of use has just died. As a starting point, let me say that both Bose and the Sony were fuller in sound. But that is to be expected at a price point this expensive. Today, I am absolutely thrilled to receive my JBL, and I did a lot of comparison shopping and found it to be a great model. I looked at Bose, Sonos, Anker, UE Boom, and other models, but I kept reviewing and comparing. Following a thorough review, listening, reading, and a little bit more research, I made the purchase. The first thing I noticed was that the player was sleek, solid, and easy to maneuver, both in the hand and with the buttons. I think this is a very My first move was to turn on the unit, then was immediately connected as soon as I did. The Flip 5 is mono, instead of offering the two mini speakers of the Flip 4, which both add to the sound quality of the device. In the reviews I researched, some said the mono design of the Flip 5 takes away from the audio quality. This little unit sounds great despite not having owned the 4, but I can tell you that it's quite expensive. The bass was great, and the mids were great The field is very clear and the range is very good. Our little guy did an excellent job with any song we threw his way, no scritchy treble or treble quarrels and the bass level was perfect for us. In short, if you're looking for a genuinely great sounding unit but don't want to invest a large amount, I highly recommend the Flip 5 if the price-point for the Sonos or Bose might be prohibitive. This is one of the best JBL units yet!.
There are three major issues I don't like. I'd prefer stereo, but it's mono. That's not a dealbreaker for me, but it's not great for me. As for the second item, it cannot serve This is absolutely absurd! What a terrible decision they made to remove this feature. The third problem is that it doesn't have an auxiliary jack. The Bluetooth connection is the only option. Prior to buying the speaker, I didn't know anything about any of these. Although all that is true, I still consider it to be an excellent This device seems to have a good battery life. As a result of the three cons I listed above, I don't think it's worth returning. JBL missed the boat with those features. It's an excellent speaker, but it was missing these It was my first time buying it, so I read reviews, saw the one about the speakerphone, but thought maybe someone had made a mistake. The price is worth it even if you have to deal with these cons.
It is awesome to listen to Due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to return the item within an hour of its I bought the speaker to have beautiful stereo sound, but it unfortunately is not as good as the first one. There is an iOS app I downloaded. I was able to turn on and off the stereo function the first time, but I couldn't get it to work again after turning it off and back on. Then I began reading many reviews that claimed that stereo pairing did not actually work as advertised. There is no way I can handle stress because I am old. The easy return policy of Amazon and Kohl's makes it easy for customers. If you want to use the speaker as a stand-alone unit, you only need to buy it. Okay, I have just one thing to say the seller is amazing! I felt guilty returning this item since it was so well packaged and arrived so quickly. I appreciate your help.
JBL flips have been in my possession for six years now. I've owned a JBL 5 for only a short time, but so far I've been pleased with it. JBL speakers do not last for me more than a year or two. I am tough on my speakers, so I cannot blame the company for this. I like how they sound, and I like how they last. There is no telephone option on the 5 series, which I find to be nice. When I was trying to use my phone it would try to sync my speaker all the time, even though I never used it. It's nice to see that they no longer use micro usb charging and that they're now using As well as the white camo, I really like the black camo.
6 hours. Während 6 hours may seem like a good time for an average bear, for me it is better to view it as a half-day (or less) of work. The noise maker is pretty good. P. S. Getting one of these is more or less like going back in time to the late 80's or early 90's when loud music was cool or annoyance Kindness to one another is important.
Although I'm not proud of admitting this, I believe I may have put on my Hot Tub Time Machine, and then accidently knocked a speaker into the water while I was closing I realized what was happening when I couldn't find the speaker the next day. Then we floated in 100 degrees for a while. As I watched it swim in the water for over a day, I was certain it could be a goner. Then I returned it to service after a couple of days, having cleaned it, dried it, and turned it back on. I was surprised to find that it powered right up and worked the way it did Taking into account all my speakers, this one features the most 'water resistance' of any. It's also quite good in terms of sound.
There is no playback time beyond 5 hours. I've always liked JBL speakers, but I'm pretty disappointed in this one. As a result, the battery life advertised is highly exaggerated. I made sure to follow every step of the set up instructions and charging process to ensure I maximized I need to turn up the volume more than half to get more than three. This speaker has a maximum battery life of 5 hours. It was mentioned by others that they had also experienced similar issues, but I hoped to give it a try and unfortunately I'm disappointed. speaker's other limitation is that it doesn't allow continuous play while charging, which is really a deal breaker. As a result of my experience, I recommend looking for another speaker.
The fact that you get 12 hours of battery life may not really matter much to most people. On the other hand, we used this for a golf trip on which we played 36 holes daily. If it had been at full volume, it might have lasted for six hours. I was expecting more. It took less than seven hours. It is a great speaker for the money, with good sound and quality for a small, portable unit. It is easy to set up In my opinion, battery life is the reason for 3 out of 5 stars, especially since it offers 12 hours of battery life.
