I realize it is pretty old-fashioned today to own a micro cassette recorder. Though we are deeply embedded in the digital era, I still enjoy the analog world from time to time. My purchase of this was because I intend to go back to school and I have used it for note taking and whenever I need to do a homework assignment I practice my test-taking skills by asking and answering questions. While it is true that new items are no longer being manufactured and only used products are available in the market today, everyone who sells these things publicly is evidently extremely proud of their product. In my opinion, some of these items are outrageously priced, I understand that some may have a novelty or collectors' type attitude toward them, but. . . WOW. The one I selected was on the lower end of the price range, but I still considered it A nice touch was that it came with three used cassette tapes, which seem to be in good working condition. Basically, I don't have a problem with the device because it works and all the functions are working fine, just the price that is astronomical.
