This 5ft cord has a lot of advantages because it reduces the chance of it getting tangled

On our way to a 7-hour destination for a family vacation, the grandkids were with us. A cord from the DVD player got stuck in the door when we stopped at a rest area to unplug it. The cable did not cut, however there were bare wires visible and this stopped the dvd from playing. Having found this one, we ordered it within 2 days and had it delivered to our resort within those I am not giving it 5 stars because I wish it had an expandable cord. The 5ft cord is nice because it eliminates the problem of getting caught in the door, but it is also much more flexible and perhaps someone in the front seat will unplug it accidentally. I have found however that the dvd player functioned as both should and ensured peace between my 13 yr old granddaughter and 9 yr old grandson (once they agreed on what dvds to watch).

I am using it with my old Sony DVD player, and it works great! My other reviews are always saying things like "I left my charger" or "I lost my charger" which only makes me look incompetent, but this charger is for the car so that I can use the Sony DVD player while on long trips with my grandson
