Questions & Answers
It uses an NMO antenna mount that is design for a different application.
Near the bottom of the antenna is a lever that allows it to be lifted up and folded over. It is located just above the coil at the base.
It will work perfectly with the K412CNMO mount because the NMO version has been optimized.
Two metres and 70cm have proven to be good for me. For that use, the length of this antenna would not be appropriate. We recommend getting an antenna that can operate on 10m or the CB band instead.

The antenna I bought and used on my mount is UHF style, but the mount i bought looks like a VHF antenna. It wasn't very secure and I ended up gifting this antenna to a friend. I bought a UHF style of the same antenna and it works fine. It is very good that the antenna can be folded without being removed in order to fit into areas with low clearance.
It worked perfectly. It is very easy to use on mobile and I have no complaints about it. It is evident that the mount I bought isn't strong enough for highway speeds, so I am still looking for a mount that can support it at the location where I have it.
I use it on the hood of my 2019 Tacoma and it works great.
The 2 meter has a high swr, and the replacement is pending. There's no sign of factory seconds here, I hope.
I was quite pleased with the performance of this antenna. Another purchase is definitely on the way.
In a nutshell - It is very convenient to drive through garages because of the overhang at the base.
It is hooked up to my amateur radio and works great. I measured the swr with a meter and it is well under 1 dB. I run 80 watts through it, and it gives me a clear signal. Luckily, I have my own Jeep with mine that's been around trees and abuse for years.
