Dear Customer, the station saving function is not supported by this transistor radio. I hope this has been of assistance.
My husband had them in all the time until the radio became too loud, but our AC plug doesn't get a strong enough signal, so we couldn't use them. There is a great deal of static here. You can certainly leave them in place so that the radio will continue to function in the event of a power outage.

this particular speaker is three years old. My pocket radio has a diameter of 2", whereas this one has a diameter of 5". I also set the tone level to low, so the sound is MUCH better. Another feature I enjoy is the ability to control the volume. It's quite big and protrudes about 1/2" from the front. I listen to talk radio all day and keep the radio within arm's reach, so it's very easy to turn the volume down when the commercials come on. I liked it so much that I purchased a second one for the bathroom, where I can turn it up loud enough to hear it while showering. …. seagae.
My MD- Today I received a T16 AM/FM radio. I put in four D-cell batteries. I switched on the radio and tuned it to my favorite AM station. Wow. The sound quality on this radio is excellent, and there is plenty of volume. It's all thanks to the large speaker. This radio is also made of a sturdy, high-quality plastic that feels solid in the hand. The carry handle has a good solid feel to it as well. I listened to a couple of FM stations. They have a similar sound to them. The FM antenna has a length of 24 inches. The large volume and tuning knobs are my favorite features. I expect to keep this radio for a very long time. Obviously, I have no idea how long the batteries will last, but there are some benefits that lead me to believe that battery power will not be an issue. For starters, it makes use of four D-type connectors. batteries for cell phones Other radios I looked at had smaller batteries or used less of them. Furthermore, because there is no digital clock or electronic tuning with memory, no current is drawn from the batteries when the power is turned off. It also comes with an AC power cord, but I chose this radio because of its portability. This is a fantastic deal at an even better price, and it's a beautiful radio to boot.
I had an old I-phone with me. The combination of Songbook Radio and an iPod has died. Before taking a chance on a brand I'd never heard of, I read through a lot of reviews. br>I haven't been let down yet. I was concerned about AM and FM stations because I live in the middle of nowhere. br>I like the high/low tone feature, and the volume can be turned up to a reasonable level. I'm sure I'll be able to fine-tune the stations. br>I wish I could go back to using the old I- I'd like to put a Songbook speaker in the earphone spot, but I can't because the main volume is turned off when an external speaker is plugged in there. This is exactly how it should be. br>The only thing that makes me happy is that the price has dropped since I purchased it! I'm thinking about getting a second for the barn:.
My home is in a small coastal town where there is a lot of wind, which causes power outages. A radio that runs on rechargeable batteries isn't very useful. This tiny bundle of joy is incredible! I recently used it during a power outage, and it worked perfectly. I live 85 miles outside of a major city and had no trouble getting my station. There's no static here, and there's no in-and-out fading. That is precisely what I was looking for. It's light, but it's the perfect size: not too big, not too small. The sound quality is excellent for its size, and I was pleasantly surprised by this radio.
This is a great radio if you want a simple radio with controls that are easy to see and use. br>br>THE SOUND QUALITY IS CLEAR AND CLEAR, BUT THE BASS IS LIGHT. It's not that it's tinny; it's just that it's not as full as it could be bass on a scale Some people might prefer it this way. It's perfectly acceptable to me. br>br>RECEPTION is a good thing. Local stations are crystal clear and free of static. There are no fades in and out on FM stations. Although I can receive AM stations, I am unable to receive WOR New York from Eastern Pennsylvania north of Philadelphia. In my area, a total of 12 AM stations receive clear and uninterrupted transmissions. Others enter with a hissing or humming sound. br>br>TONE CONTROL has two settings, each of which is controlled by a switch: One allows all sound to pass through, while the other removes sharpness and only allows softer sounds to pass through. Silly. However, there is no real harm done. br>br>BUTTONS are all large and simple to operate. There aren't any ambiguous or difficult-to-understand terms here. Look at anything digital. Yay. br>br>DIAL is very visible, and it will remain in place even if you only listen to one favorite radio station. This is a major benefit. br>br>THE SIZE OF THE RADIO IS APPROXIMATELY 9 INCHES WIDE AND 2 INCHES DEEP. br>br>WEIGHT is a very light weight. It's easy to knock off a table or be dragged around by the cord, so it's best to put the radio somewhere it won't be knocked over. br>br>On the top front of the radio is a small red light that illuminates when the radio is turned on and turns off when it is turned off. If you turn it down and then forget to turn it off, this is a good way to find out. The best features of this radio are: br>br> 1. br>br> It will play your favorite radio station when you turn it on with a single click. It's as simple as that. Period. There's no need to program anything, and you won't have to stare at a screen full of unreadable digital numbers. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br With a single click, you can switch bands from FM to AM, and with a turn of the dial, you can select a station. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. Nothing needs to be programmed, charged, or set, and there are no buttons on it that you don't know how to use. br>br>If all you want to do is turn on a radio that's already tuned to a station you like, hear that station clearly, and adjust the volume with a wheel turn, this is the radio for you. It works and is devoid of any perplexing digital programming features. It does exactly what it says on the tin, which is extremely rare these days. It made me very happy; Only the amount of sound range and the lack of a real tone control are worth mentioning as potential drawbacks, but they are minor ones, and the ease of use and conveniences of this radio IMO outweigh those concerns. There isn't a radio on the market right now that is easier to use and read than this one. It makes me very happy.
During the recent CALIFORNIA wildfires, we were without power. Our next-door neighbor gave us a transistor radio so we could listen to the news. Our landline and cell phones were both out of service. As a result, we purchased an emergency radio that can also be used on a regular basis by plugging it into the wall.
I enjoy listening to talk radio shows while outside with the kids or relaxing at the lake, and I am never disappointed! Clear A. We're at least 40 miles away from the radio station, so reception is a challenge. Despite the rural Vermont mountainous terrain, the transmission is excellent), the knob controls are simple, and the vehicle is light. It has a sturdy handle that makes it easy to transport. The D batteries, in my experience, last longer than the AA batteries in my other portable radio. It's got a certain vibe to it. It has a retro feel to it as well. It sounds a lot like my in-laws' in-laws' in-laws in-laws' in Bose sound system installed in the house!.
