Adhesive is a complete waste of time and money. First and foremost, don't expect the adhesive pads to last long if you use them. They will stick for a week or two before coming loose, or sooner if exposed to heat such as sunlight. I'd remove the adhesive disk and replace it with 3M VHB tape. br>br>The rubber used to make the holders is firm and of good quality. Holds cords well, and they don't lose their integrity or start seeping oils or anything like that in my experience. I say this because some other brands I've tried do the same thing and become oily or sticky after a while, whereas these don't.
THEY ARE AMAZING! These were featured in a YouTube video about how well they work and how nice they look on your desk. I bought a pack with the intention of using one or two of them. But, with the exception of one, I used all of them. What a difference not having wires all over the place made! On my desk, there are almost no wires visible as you can see in the photos. Please disregard the wires on the walls; I am currently in the process of concealing them all. They're made of a soft rubber that'll last for years. br>br> Some rubber products have an unpleasant odor; these, on the other hand, reeks of steak! They don't have any odor at all, and the adhesive is fantastic! I cleaned the area where I would stick it with rubbing alcohol as well. The weight of an extension cord is pulling on one of those rubber clips, but it hasn't pulled off the clip yet, and it's been about 5 days. However, these can be removed without causing damage to the furniture. I decided to remove a clip because I didn't think I'd be able to use it again. It took some effort to get it off, but it did, and I was able to reuse it in another location. These items are fantastic! I should have gotten them a long time ago!.
Years ago, I upgraded my bedroom phone cord to a 10ft cord, and it changed my life! Even if I tuck it under my pillow when I wake up in the morning, it falls behind my headboard half of the time, and I have to fish it out when I get into bed at night. Did I mention that this is something I've been doing for a long time? So when I first saw this product, I thought to myself, "OMG, maybe this will finally solve one of my most vexing first-world problems. " And it has succeeded in doing so! br>br>I hung one on my headboard, just below where my mattress meets the wall, so it's not visible. I simply plugged in the phone cord, and there you have it! The cord will still be hanging on this when it falls off my bed! I've also kept a couple of these in my car to help organize the cords, as well as in my home and work desk areas to help organize the cords. These are incredibly useful little gadgets!.
This is fantastic! I needed something to route a couple of cords around, and this was perfect. The single slot clips are large enough to hold a standard cord or a light-duty indoor extension cord, but they're still small enough that I was able to fit my USB-C charging cable in them. I was able to put my phone's C cable in it without it falling out. br>br>I'm not sure why I've seen so many people say they should use 3m tape instead of generic tape, or that they had to replace their tape with 3m tape. The 3m logo is prominently displayed on the tape.
It's not in the least bit sticky. None of the adhesive stickers in the car have adhered to the smooth plastic surface. I tried prepping the surface with alcohol after cleaning with 409 and dawn, then rinsing and drying it. There isn't a single sticker that has stayed in place. Avoid this product, or perhaps the ones I received were duds; the holder part appears to be well made, but that doesn't matter if they don't stay in place. On a 50-degree day and a 65-degree day, I put them to the test. This product should not be used in direct sunlight or in extremely hot temperatures. I'm at a loss for words. What a squander of resources, both time and money.
These were something I really wanted to enjoy. They have a great concept, but their primary function isn't being carried out properly. Organizing and maintaining cable systems - is in desperate need. br>br>The main problem with these cable clips is that each slot has far too much space for anything to stay in place. When you try to slide a cable in or out, it almost always pops out of the channel it's supposed to be in, making the entire process pointless. br>br>These should be made with a much smaller gap between grip points, allowing the cable to be inserted and slid back and forth without coming out until you really want it to. br>br>On the lookout for something more suitable.
This set was purchased for use in the office, at home, and in the vehicle. br>br>At my desk, the ones that are on a flat surface for cable management and have little to no friction or downward pull stay stuck just fine. They're fine at home, as well. On a flat, horizontal surface with little to no friction or pull is also possible. br>br>However, after about 2 weeks of being in place on a vertical surface with light to no tugging or friction, the ones in my car that I use to organize my wires for AUX and charging have already fallen off. I'll look into replacing the bottom adhesive with something a little more durable; I bought them primarily for this reason.
I bought mine to hold pens, but I accidentally stuck it on the wrong side and can't get it off. I mean, it's impossible for me to remove it! But that's fine with me because the last three pen holders I purchased either fell off on their own or peeled off easily. I like how tough the adhesive is on these! br>br>I bought it on Amazon, despite the fact that I haven't seen the "VERIFIED PURCHASE" checkbox in any of my reviews in the last two years.
