I understand that this is marketed as a phone accessory, but I have a C054 cradle and a CS540 headset, and I can confirm that it can be used as a USB headset with Windows. Although the headset has an idle timer that will turn it off after a certain amount of time, it still beeps when a call is received. It works fine if you turn the headset on with the button; you may need to go into device settings and make sure it's set to default, but that wasn't necessary in my case.
Essentially, a custom cable that connects a Plantronics office headset (such as the Savi or Voyager/PRO) to a Cisco (or other) office phone. I use a MDA200 switch in my setup.

No. As stated, it is incompatible. Plantronics was contacted for assistance and troubleshooting. They both agreed that it wasn't compatible in the way it was described. This item must be returned to me.
