I used two full cartridges in an attempt to print just one photo. The printer wouldn't fully re-ink after the second color. Except for one time when it made it through every cycle before jamming, bending the photo, and refusing to work again.
The only thing I wish was that the cartridges lasted a little longer. It was necessary to replace 6 photos that had been printed.
It's ideal, and it's incredibly simple to use. I didn't need to read the instructions at all!.
I've already squandered three cartridges by attempting to print a test page. The first cartridge kept jamming as it attempted to complete the passes, resulting in either incomplete images or blanks that could not be reused. The ink was ejected from the second one, but the photo paper was not. The printer has been charged to its maximum capacity. I don't have any problems with my connection; it just keeps breaking down, and I only got this today. It is completely useless.
I also have a Polaroid camera, but the quality of the images it produces is inferior to those produced by this printer. I like it so far because the setup was quick and easy.
It's a lot of fun to print with this printer. The images are reasonably sharp, and it provides immediate gratification. Yes, the app is clumsy, as other reviewers have pointed out. It's unclear whether they'll make any changes. However, once you've ironed out the kinks, it's perfectly functional. To get back to zero and make a new selection, often all you have to do is close the app and restart it. However, it is only a minor irritation. Overall, I'd say go for it - It's where we keep track of our camping adventures. We would not have had time to print out digital photos and then go back to update our journal when we returned, so it's a win-win situation.
That was quick enough. It's just the right size. Prinics is the developer of the app. That caught me off guard for a moment. Its first priority was to keep itself up to date. After that, everything works as it should. We intend to make extensive use of it and have a great time with it. While we're with them, we like to share photos of our family and friends.
The print quality from this machine pleasantly surprised me; the paper is slightly metallic (which should be mentioned), but I don't mind, and the quality/sharpness is better than I anticipated. Although I would have preferred (and paid more) if it wasn't just painted plastic, the retro styling is cool.
