Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use all of the features on a Mac?

I have a desktop iMac and a MacBook Pro, both running the Catalina operating system. As long as the printer is installed on both computers, I haven't had any issues with it working with either of my computers. Both, as well as my iPhone and iPad, have the ability to print. This printer can also be used by Alexa to print my grocery list. The only thing about this printer that irritates me is that the "Scan to Computer" feature on the printer screen does not work with Catalina. According to what I've heard, the operating system's software and printer drivers have yet to be developed, which is absurd. Install the SmartApp on your devices, however, and scan directly from there. Working with it this way hasn't been a problem for me. I'm hoping that HP will release Catalina-specific software and printer drivers as soon as possible. Aside from that, this printer is excellent.

Is there an ink cartridge included with this?

Is there any ink included?

Is it capable of capturing images?

Yes, yes, you can enlarge them, copy them from someone sending them to you via email, do them from your own tablet, do them from your phone from a scam, whatever you want.

Is it possible to send emails using this printer?

Yes, if scanning to email is what you're referring to.

This is a new printer, and it appears that HP rushed it to market without performing adequate quality assurance
3/5

I've had four HP multifunction printers over the years. I've used three generations of function printers in the last five years and have been very pleased with them. The printers have been reliable, and the installation has been quick and painless. When I tried to order another of the same generation as the one I'd been using, Amazon said it was out of stock, so I decided to try the newer 9015 instead. That was a huge blunder. From the start, it has been a disaster. The printer has had a series of problems (printhead missing or incorrectly installed, cartridge problem), the software is buggy and has a hard time finding the printer, and so on. As a result, after 90 minutes, I still haven't completed the on-screen instructions. menu that appears on the screen I'd give it a 6-star rating if I could. Before ordering it, you have a year to settle things out. Unless you're buying it as a joke gift for a particularly hated relative.

A business behemoth that is also suitable for use at home
5/5

I was a little sceptical about how the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 all-in-one printer would perform. One would be able to compete with the LaserJet I'd been using for the past few years. When I first received the printer, I was concerned that it would be far too large to fit into my designated printer space in my home office. However, upon opening, I was pleasantly surprised at how small it is for such a large machine. I followed the set up guide and it was a breeze. This could be set up and working in 20 minutes by anyone with a basic understanding of computers. The majority of my printing is divided into two categories: Schoolwork and arts and crafts A simple color printer will suffice for school work in terms of producing nice documents and printing the occasional image. I need a higher-quality image for crafting, as well as accurate CMYK/color matching and a high dpi for crisp output. For my heat transfer crafts, I also need it to be able to handle sublimation ink. Well, folks, I'm here to tell you that the OfficeJet Pro 9025 does exactly that. I did a few test prints (see photos) after a quick set up and wireless connection to my computer. It was a perfect color match. The images were sharp and clear, and I was able to create a photo that was suitable for framing. worthy. I'd be just as comfortable printing my own photos and creating images as I would mass-printing professional-looking business flyers. I should also mention that the printer isn't particularly noisy. That's a minor annoyance, but it's enough to make me throw a printer out the window. I don't want to hear screeches or beeps, or have my desk shake while it prints; instead, I want a printer that is quiet, quick, and capable. It's also InstantInk ready, which is a bonus. Who hasn't gone to print only to discover that their cartridge has reached the end of its useful life? This printer will connect to InstantInk and order refills as needed, based on your subscription! Remember that this machine can also scan, copy, and fax, in addition to printing. It preserves image quality and provides excellent copy and scan duplication of your documents. There isn't a single area of expertise where this printer doesn't exceed expectations. This is a ten out of ten, and I strongly suggest it. It's a behemoth fit for a business setting that's equally at home in the home office. The price is reasonable, and the quality is excellent!  .

This printer is outstanding
4/5

This is my second HP all-in-one wireless printer, which you can connect to via the HP Smart app and use for a variety of printing tasks. br>br>I had to admit that this is larger than I anticipated, but that is my own personal 'duh,' as it is designed for small businesses, not just personal printing. It has two trays that can hold a ream of paper when used together. It has a digital screen panel control that assists with tasks such as initial setup, scanning, printing, and creating cool brochures. br>br>You can connect through your router's wifi network, a direct connection to the computer, USB, or Bluetooth. br>br>I've got it hooked up to my wireless router. And, as with my other HP wireless printer, this resulted in a few minor issues with connectivity. It could just be the way my ISP and router are set up, but I had to go in and give the printer a static IP address because some of the devices in my house (we have four computers, four phones, and a tablet) were having trouble finding the printer using the home network name, but were able to find it using the IP address. Those devices sometimes thought the printer was not online if the IP address changed (which it did in this case due to the way DHCP leases are set up in my home router). br>br>It is fast, the print is crisp and clean, and I love using the app to print documents from anywhere. br>br>Another point to note is that the initial setup walks you through a lot of HP marketing material that you can opt out of. The Instant Ink program appears to be one of the most appealing. Initially, this is a great option because you can get ink replacement for a low price. You create an account with HP, estimate how much ink you'll use in a month (this can be adjusted later if you use less or more), and use this information to set up a recurring, monthly charge from your credit card or bank account. HP can detect when you're running low on ink and will send you replacements before you run out. As previously stated, this comes at a significant savings over purchasing replacement cartridges from a store. If you plan on using and keeping this printer for an extended period of time, this is a great option; however, if you replace the printer or cancel your instant ink enrollment, the instant ink cartridges will no longer work in your printer as of the effective cancel date. Even if they're already installed in the printer, even if you've got some stock ready to go, even if you've already paid for them. So, for this printer, I declined the instant ink enrollment because, even with the discount, the last printer I had cost me money. Despite being in the lowest enrollment tier, I simply did not print enough.
