Questions & Answers

Is there some kind of subscription required to keep printing, similar to the one HP offers?

Perhaps this is a problem with corporate printers more than anything else. Ink is the only thing you'll need to purchase separately. If you print frequently, I believe you can pay Amazon a reasonable monthly fee and they will ship you ink as needed. I hope this has been of assistance:

Selected User Reviews For Epson® Workforce® Pro WF-3820 Wireless Color Inkjet All-in-One Printer

Great all-in-one printer for a low price
5/5

Epson recently announced the release of five new WorkForce Pro printers. Two of them can print on larger paper sizes (up to 13" X 19"), while the other three can only print on standard paper sizes. This model, the WF-WF-WF-WF-WF-WF Prints on standard-size paper, number 3820. It is a low-cost option. The WorkForce Pro printers' top model, but it's still a great deal for what you get. The following are the key distinctions: WF-br>WF-br>WF-br>WF-br>WF-br>W 3820: 2. more compact 7" touch screen display, slower print speeds, and single-sided printing only scanning on both sides, with one 250-square-foot space tray with sheets of paper
WF- 4820: Larger 4. 3" touch screen display, faster print speeds, but only single-sided printing is possible. scanning on both sides, with one 250-square-foot space tray with sheets of paper
WF- 4830: Larger 4. 3" touch screen display, faster print speeds, and the ability to do double-sided printing scanning on both sides, with two 250-pixel scanners tray for sheets of paper br>br>All models support duplex printing and have a built-in fax machine, which I was unable to test because I do not have a regular phone line, but which could be useful for some small businesses. br>br>Setting up this printer was a breeze for me. It performs admirably on my iMac Pro. To ensure that you have the most recent version of the drivers, I recommend downloading them from the Epson website rather than using the included CD. br>br>Despite the fact that the WF- Although the 3820 is slower than the other models in the series, it remains one of the fastest inkjet printers I've ever used. In addition, the print quality is superb. I enjoy being able to print and copy color documents. The scanner performs better than I anticipated and is ideal for scanning jobs with low volume. However, if you scan a large number of documents each day, a dedicated document scanner such as the Fujitsu ScanSnap ix1500 is still recommended. If you work from home and have a limited amount of space but still need to scan, copy, and print in color; This printer is a great deal because it includes all of the features that a typical user would require.

In practice, there is no such thing as wireless
3/5

AWESOME printer that forgets its WiFi network every time it goes to sleep and has a terrible on-screen keyboard. graphical user interface for printing br>br>I think we'd all like to be able to forget about our work lives at night and not have to remember them the next day, but I never expected that from a printer. It prints perfectly, quickly, and is as easy to use as it gets once it's connected. However, that only happens once a day. br>br>The initial setup on Windows 10 (64 bit) was a pain, but it worked. The Epson software is reminiscent of the "Big Simple Box" from the 1990s, and it does an excellent job of concealing anything other than the presumed "best" path to setup. Prepare yourself for a fight if something goes wrong. Having said that, I was ecstatic when I first started printing on it. When compared to newly purchased printers, it is lightning fast, and the results are crisp and vibrant. When it couldn't find the printer on Day 2, I assumed I'd made a mistake and restarted. Everything went smoothly. On Day 3, I realized I was going through the same motions as before. After a week of tinkering, I discovered that the printer will retain network settings **as long as it is not put to sleep**. Worse, it says it can only find other WiFi because it does not "want" to find the most recent. Our primary WiFi, a guest account, and the "native" from the ISP's pathetic router are all available. If you're connected to the primary, you'll get a notification when it's time to wake up the next time Note that my entire smart home, as well as our various tablets and computers, have no problems; if guest was last, it will only find ISP router, and so on. Only the Epson has problems. br>br>However, connecting it via USB is a breeze. Due to a minor reorganization of the desk area, the lack of wireless is now a (relative) non-issue. issue. If you're running Windows 10 and can't connect a USB drive to a computer, you might want to reconsider buying this. Another thought: br>br> If you don't have a stylus from an old tablet or a touch-screen device, you'll need to buy one. GET A SCREEN IMMEDIATELY. The LED screen serves as a [bleep] for entering passwords (or anything else), and most buttons have a millimetre margin of error. I'd be surprised if Epson hasn't done a UX review since, well, since the term "UX review" became popular in the 1990s. br>br>In summary, the 3820 is a fantastic printer that is hampered by poor on-demand printing. board software and a computer monitor options for design.

a tray made of paper The only issue I had was getting the paper tray back into place; it would get stuck and wouldn't go all the way in unless I used brute force, so if you're replacing paper, don't completely remove it; instead, open it slightly and place your paper inside

It uses photo paper to print lines
3/5

It was purchased in November 2020 and is brand new. Printing lines on photo paper is considered cute by the printer. Two different computers, two different versions of the software - the same outcomes: In the middle of the photo, two horizontal lines are drawn. Paper size is 5x7 inches and is glossy. How sad. What a let-down. You only want it to do one thing: work. Make a photocopy of something. But it is unable to do so. Pathetic.

Yes, it is worthwhile to purchase

This printer is one of the simplest to set up! br>FOLLOW ALL OF THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR SETUP AND EVERYTHING WILL GO AS PLANNED; IT WORKS AT THE END OF THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR SETUP. br>It has a fantastic touch screen. br>Believe it or not, connecting to a wifi device and a phone/tablet are two different processes. br>The Sleep function timer can be changed; I set mine to 15 minutes instead of the default of one minute. Yes, the user must wake up the printer if it falls asleep. This isn't a problem at all. Yes, if you want to airprint while it's sleeping, you'll have to wake it up. connect it to the internet It is not a problem. br>br>Do you mean the paper tray? Yes, some people think it's a little flimsy. Because it's made of plastic and designed to be as light as possible, don't try to abuse the paper tray. br>When re- re- re- re- re- re- re The importance of using the BLUE RELEASE butoon tab when reinstalling the tray is critical. br>It took a while to figure out how to reinsert the full try again because the instructions weren't clear. Just don't think it's stuck; it isn't; the BLUE RELEASE button needs to be pressed again. br>br>Overall, yes, I would purchase this printer again. br>I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews; the printer works as it should.
