Ribbon in and of itself is great, but the plastic spools did not fit my 1964 Smith Corona Galaxie. It was necessary for me to rewrite It was a bit frustrating to use metal spools to spool them, but it worked out just fine. I am very pleased with the ribbon. It dries quickly on paper and is well-transferred by ink.
I bought it based on the reviews but it exceeded my expectations!.
I ordered this ribbon to use on a machine more than 50 years old, and it works fine. The ink is darker, but not as dark as I expected. My lack of familiarity with printers may be due to my familiarity with them. On these old typewriters, you have to exert a lot of effort to strike the keys.
We need to specify the size of the Had to rewind the ribbon onto the spools from my old ribbon because it did not fit my very vintage typewriter (too big).
It fitted well and worked as expected.
The typewriter was not compatible with the rewind but the original spool was available.
The above is a scam, I can assure you. Invest your money in something useful! On the four Underwood typesetters I tried it, not one of them worked. Invest your money in something useful!.
The typewriter I have works great with the Royal Arrow typewriter from the 1960s.
