Royal 79101t Classic Manual Typewriter (mint Green)

Typewriters from the "old fashioned" era were what she requested. In light of some of the reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I am extremely pleased with my purchase. There's nothing fake about this. Those typewriters remind me of the one I had at my grandmother's house when I was a child. I remember taking a typing class in highschool on one like that. This typewriter has a noisy mechanism but it is also a functioning typewriter. It is obviously not as smooth as typing on an electric word processor (which feels like typing on a computer) but the machine is fully functional. There is a solid feeling to it, and it feels well-constructed. While you won't be typing "War and Peace" on this thing (the letter keys can get in the way of each other and get stuck if you type too fast), it will suffice to type a letter or craft project.

She uses Google Docs easily, but she enjoys the sound and feel of the manual typewriter keys, and she spends hours using it daily. The features and durability of this item cannot be determined, but our granddaughter is happy with it.

As a result, the typewriter doesn't type because the ribbon used is old. The air is dry or something like that. Unfortunately I had to type away when I wanted to.

I still possess it today. Works fine, but the keys are worn and it will occasionally skip a space. In any case, it still beats All the ribbons are dried out, so they are a dud. I will therefore continue using my old one since I am getting older.

Many parts feel cheaply made despite the fact that it feels tough. It does not have anything else going for it except its metal body. I feel stiff all over the rest of my body. For the price I paid, I had absolutely no idea what I was getting. I will never purchase this product Disappointed to say the least! I'm sending it back as soon as possible!.

Typewriters like this one really appeal to me. I like how it looks and how it can be used. I have an Olivetti 22 that is very similar to this. There was a mess with the ink. The staining completely stained both plastic shields, and spread on the ribbon guide. All the ribbon had been used. Once I have unwound it completely - The key strokes could be seen continuously all the way. Sorry to hear that. It seemed to me as if the machine was brand.
