Now, this product is not perfect, but it is one of the translators that I have seen that is better than the majority. I don't just support the 112 languages that have been recorded. It can, however, translate 55 languages that have been scanned. With a precision of 2098 However, unless you have access to WiFi, you will only be able to communicate in English, Chinese, or Japanese. It has an internal 1500 mAh rechargeable battery that can provide up to 8 hours of voice translation and 210 hours of standby time, and the touch screen is simple to operate. br>br>At first, I was hesitant to order this product because it seemed too good to be true. Although there is a learning curve to master in order to use this product effectively, it is almost universal in scope. It is not cheap, even though it works. However, once you've figured out how to use it, it's quite effective, and you'll be able to communicate with people who speak different languages. I can read menus and books, or at the very least passages from them. It's incredible how well it works. br>br>The touch screen is responsive and intuitive. br>br>The only drawback is that it requires 112 languages to be supported. It must be connected to the internet via WiFi. Which isn't always the case when you're traveling in a foreign country. It would be great if they could download at least one language of your choice for mobile use at the same time. I couldn't find any warranty information in the product information or item description. br>br> br>br>I'm grateful that you took the time to read this. This product was given to me in exchange for an honest review. Overall, this is a fantastic application. If you have a need or desire to communicate or understand another language, I strongly advise you to take this course. In terms of price, it's right in the middle of the pack, and it's reasonably priced given the variety of options available. I hope you found this information to be useful. [5 Stars].

Scans are always failing
3/5

Only the Chinese version is available for translation. Password issues with WiFi. I bought this a while ago, but I couldn't even get it to connect to the internet. I took the time today and continue to despise this blunder. To begin, you must choose a language from the following list: Chinese. That is all there is to it. Having the text in Chinese was inconvenient for me because I am fluent in English. When attempting to connect to the internet via Wi-Fi, Fi, it came up with the option to use English, but no matter how many times I select English from the menu (after Wi-Fi), everything is still translated into Chinese. Setup for Wi-Fi). So, the password keyboard has letters and a button to switch to a numbers keyboard, but switching between them erases everything you typed previously. The only way to get Wi-Fi is to buy a Wi-Fi hotspot. Fi is to use an all-letters or all-numbers password. Or, as I discovered by accident (because the instructions aren't very clear), you can press the return button and then make the switch, and everything will work. So, I took a picture of the Spanish text from a children's book and scanned it. Even if the sentence is longer, text translation will only take one line. It did scan that one line on the first try, providing a Spanish text translation and audio, as well as a Chinese text translation and audio. Even though I believe I had the pen angle correct, the pressure consistent, the text centered, and so on, the next time I tried to scan, it failed to scan more than one word, despite moving the device over the entire thing. After that, the text failed three more times. As a result, I switched to audio transcription. It stopped working as soon as I tapped on it. This isn't a serious device; it's a prank.

In theory, it's a simple concept, but in practice, it's a source of great frustration
3/5

Upgrade your software/firmware as soon as possible! br>As of 8/25/21, the preloaded software/firmware versions on this are horrible, and if you try the unit before upgrading, you will find an abundance of frustrating bugs. First, from the main screen, scroll all the way to the right and go to the'setting' button and enable and configure WIFI. Second, go to Upgrade (also under the setting button) and download the most recent software/firmware version (V2. X5_EJB_Z_V1 is a 0/X5_EJB_Z_V1 identifier. As of September 12th, 21st, there are ten of them. Fortunately, most of the bug-related performance issues were resolved with this upgrade (I wasted a lot of time before doing the upgrade trying functions and experiencing issues that were resolved by the upgrade). )br>The User Manual's font size is too small, and the majority of the small images are unclear and blurry. While you can read the print, the irony is that it is too small to accurately scan the line you want with this device; with such a small font, you frequently scan the line above or below what you want, and no matter how many times you try to make a fine adjustment, you can't scan every line in an area with such a small print size. )br>TEXT SCAN TRANSLATIONSome combinations of print colors, background colors, glossiness, and font type/size result in erratic, poor, and inconsistent scanning results. Common fonts printed in black size 10 or larger on plain white paper with sufficient line spacing will scan with a high degree of accuracy. TEXT EXCERPT: Tapping 'newline' multiple times is common. Lower/upper punctuation marks (commas/semicolons/underscores/etc. , and foreign languages with vowel markings below/above) are more likely to be dropped from the scan, and symbols are misinterpreted (ex. 3 (three in a box or circle can be interpreted as "B" or "8"). br>INTELLIGENT RECORDINGThe idea of being able to constantly dictate and record is great, but this function is terrible. Languages with more complex symbols have a much higher tendency to be incorrectly scanned as the font size gets smaller (mandarin, japanese, etc. )br> It frequently falls behind by 8 to 10 minutes. It takes 15 seconds (or more) to display something said, and it frequently cuts out entire sections of what is said. Even talking slowly and pausing frequently isn't enough to properly dictate. If you have'standby' set to the default 1 minute, it's very inconvenient to have the screen go black while you're talking or recording (you'd think it would stay active until you hit the stop recording symbol because you're using it). ) I said slowly, "one two three" (pause), "four five six" (pause), "seven eight nine" (pause), "ten eleven twelve" (long pause around 15 minutes). After a 20-second pause, press the record button to end the recording. "123" is the outcome of this simple low-stress test. 456 456 " (I didn't say 456 twice, and it lost the rest of what I said. ) Occasionally, a short recording will accurately take, but the longer it has been recording, the more frequently it continues to mess up big time (and I'm not talking about recording for 10 minutes, just 30 seconds, and it's usually long since out of sync and confused, and this is trying to talk slow and simple. ) br>PHONETIC TRANSLATIONI had high hopes for this feature, but its accuracy and consistency are all over the place. For example, if you're trying to learn a language, you might set the 'A keyboard language' to Chinese (Mandarin) and the 'B keyboard language' to English (US). You could say a simple word three times, such as "yellow yellow yellow," then see and hear it said in Mandarin, and then try to repeat it. When I tried to repeat what I heard in mandarin, it translated to everything from "the king is closed the king is closed," "yellow observation observation," "million colors," and "implement and implement" (rarely getting it to recognize or acknowledge the desired result. ) So I recorded this device saying yellow yellow yellow in mandarin (using the recorder on my iPhone), and played it back into this device's mandarin to english translator. "Intercourse intercourse intercourse," "annoying is annoying, and difficult is annoying," a handful of "Sorry, I didn't get it" errors, and about 1 in 5 times playing its own recording, I got the desired "yellow yellow yellow," "observe and observe," and "yellow box frame. " I eventually discovered that by holding the device at just the right angle and about 6" above my iPhone, I could improve the translation success rate to 40-percent. The desired result is obtained 60 of the time by replaying the recording. I tried a variety of single words spoken three times in a row, and the results were just as bad, and phrases were even worse. Maybe it's just mandarin; let's try something in spanish (which I speak fluently) and see what happens. br>SYNOPSISThis device is simply not powerful or quick enough for accurate and practical voice dictation/translation. In most cases, you should be able to get a reasonable enough text scan translation to get by understanding things like a menu, newspaper article, or instructions that were only written in another language (as long as the font is of reasonable size and clarity with decent spacing between lines).
