  As a businessman, I spend a lot of time traveling internationally. It is unrealistic and impractical to learn a new language solely for the purpose of a vacation. I used to always bring a phase book or a foreign language dictionary with me when I traveled. It's a huge hassle. Foreign language study is a waste of time and money, to be honest. I've spent years paying for expensive language courses with no satisfactory results. br>At first glance, I doubt the instant translator could accomplish much due to its small size, but it has pleasantly surprised me after almost two weeks of use in my business meetings and whenever I need to say something in another language. It's smaller than I anticipated, fits comfortably in my hand, and the translation is quick and accurate. All I have to do now is touch the screen, speak, and receive an instant voice translation. br>I believe that using this translation device will give me more confidence when traveling abroad. Even if I happen to come across someone who speaks a different language. I'll be able to communicate with them in the future. Whether I'm looking for directions or just want to meet new people. When traveling, having a conversation is always beneficial, and there are no awkward feelings!.

A wonderful interpreter. We used to rely on phone apps to translate when we traveled a lot. However, the apps were not always dependable because their response times were too long, and they would occasionally not respond at all. The translator is simple to use; once the languages have been set up, the two color-coded buttons are ready to be used for example translation. The image translator is the best feature of this translator in our opinion. Take a picture of the items you want to translate, and the translated language will appear right on the image. It would undoubtedly come in handy when we are on the road. We visited Japan last summer. My husband purchased "candy" for my daughter from a convenience store. When she opened the package and took a bite of the "candy," she was pleasantly surprised. It turned out to be a box of rice toppings, not candy, as I had suspected. This would never happen if we had this tiny translator with us. br>For international travelers, this is unquestionably a fantastic translator.

TERRIBLE! Don't believe everything you read on the internet! We purchased it for our trip to Argentina, but it has never worked properly! Connecting your phone via Bluetooth is extremely difficult. It's also not helping to get it to work because of the WiFi. We try to speak into it, but it keeps telling us that we're not speaking. We checked YouTube to make sure we were doing everything right, and we were, but it still didn't work! If the word scan functioned properly, it would be a fantastic feature. This device has a great concept, but it fails miserably when it comes to execution; it's not worth even $5, let alone $99. We were so dissatisfied with our purchase that we decided to return it. We're now stranded in Argentina, unable to communicate due to a language barrier.

Its work and quality have left an impression on me. This translator is fantastic. It's well-made and packaged, with excellent quality. It has a cute design and is a good size to hold in your hand; it looks and feels posh, and it even smells like a high-end electronic device. I used to have one from a different company that looked similar to this one, but it broke easily when my toddler dropped it on the floor. This one appears to be more durable; my toddler has been playing with it, and it appears to be holding up well. br>It's simple to use even if you don't read the instructions; you can figure out everything by simply going through the options on the screen to set it up the way you want and need it. When speaking, simply press the blue/red button according to the language it's set to, then release to hear/see the translated result; when taking a photo, simply take a photo, then spread two fingers to zoom in (as you would on an iPhone) to read if it's too small and zoomed out on the screen. br>I like that it also comes with a nice carrying neck piece on which you can use the device or remove it by simply pressing the button. I set it up to translate between Chinese and English when I first got it. The photo translation feature is very useful. When translating Chinese to English, the voice translation showed a 'network error' or was slow, but when translating the other way around, it was fine and fast. So I contacted their tech support number provided in the package to report the problem; they responded within an hour and asked me about the issue as well as the serial number on the back of my device's label, and they immediately fixed it through their system. I read a couple of reviews that mentioned the same issue; however, based on my own experience, I'd say it's a simple fix; simply contact the seller and follow the steps I took. I was surprised they could fix it remotely without having to send the device back, but then I realized it works on a Wifi network, so it makes sense, and it's great that they can. br>Now, as expected, my translator is performing well. I'm a translator who graduated from college, so I can attest to the accuracy of this. I primarily use it to quickly look up new English words as I read English books in order to expand my vocabulary. It is extremely beneficial. Thanks!.

This translation device was purchased for my husband, an Italian American of third generation. His and my (Chinese) families enjoy sharing meals, conversations, and quality time. His family and mine can communicate in English, which is advantageous to the younger generation. My husband and I must not only translate languages from Italian to English and Chinese to English for the elderly, but we must also include culture, history, and context in the translation. It can be exhausting at times to be the only two translators at family gatherings. Overall, the translation device works well as long as we speak louder, more slowly, and clearly, as shown in the video of a brief conversation between family members.
