I like the compactness and the nice display of the unit. You can use it on a boat stereo and everything you need is included. I received a unit that has intermittent issues with it and has malfunctioned. Turning it back on will not be possible unless you turn off the boat's power completely and then turn it back on. The boat is all new electrical and electronics, everything on board works fine, so there is unlikely to be a problem with installed the unit indoors in the climate-controlled salon of my boat and this boat is in Southern California, so I don't expect it to be affected by the environment. As of today, the Bluetooth can no longer pair with the phones it was paired with just one A very nice unit with a very good concept. However, I'm out of the return policy by four days, so it's not eligible for return. Our next step is seeing if JB tool will take back a defective unit that has been problematic from the start. - *Updates - My unit still has the same issues it has had since day one and I've been told by JB Tool they will not exchange it for a working unit. The product and JB Tool are not something I would recommend. Unfortunately, the design was not as impressive as it could have been. When you buy something from Amazon, you sometimes get a bit of a sting in the behind. I am contacting Amazon to see what I can do, I will post my experience.
The JBL repair center refused to fix one of them fairly quickly. It is unlikely I will purchase their products again in the future. JBL is a company whose people delay and deny, and whose products fail just to last a few years after the warranty period ends. You should beware of the buyer!.
Buying so many of these, we really liked the small space and ease of mounting and wiring
and they also sound good
Problem is, and the reason we bought so many of these is because Their lifespan is usually no more than one or two years. In addition to keeping our boats inside, our installations are dry, well ventilated, and covered. My old PRV 175 JBL lasted under 2 years. I am thinking of giving up on this one, too.
It goes without saying that I like it, not that I love it. Despite its small size, it has many features that make it an excellent stereo. The speakers are mounted on the side of my center console, and they are by JBL. My cell phone and Blue thing are now paired and I listen to the Blues on my Amazon playlist. Somebody mentioned that Blue gets hot, but I would call it warm since the parts you touch are the ones which heat up. It serves as an amplifier's heatsink. The watt is the watt, and the watt is the It does not seem to be a problem to me. Installation is simple, the device is easy to use, and the sound quality is pleasing.
It gets extremely hot, the Bluetooth is spotty, and it isn't worth the price. It stopped working, impossible to contact customer service, and it is not worth purchasing.
selling boss. The design is nice, but it has several flaws. Observations 1. The sound quality of this product is flat, as there is no equalizer or speaker adjustment. 1. . 2. There must be no clocks at all. A challenging part of mounting is getting the parts to fit together. The company has three. This hole has a diameter of 5 inches. Despite my initial excitement, I returned the boss gauge style unit due to condensation. However, boy did it pack a punch compared to a JBL. Boss sounds are far better and even have an amp button to give you even My sole wish is that I could get a quality product. I guess I'll try the Kicker or Clarion On the other hand, the buttons on the JBL are easier to press and respond more quickly than those on Furthermore, I also sell the best wakeboard towers in Texas, such as Ttops, Bimini, and wakeboarding towers. The last photo is shown below.
Having just installed the radio this past weekend in our Yamaha Rhino, we were pleasantly surprised by how compact it is, which suited the small space behind the dash well. A label and pre-label was applied to the radio connections So I was able to solder much more quickly after having the strips stripped. We will test the radio to confirm whether or not it is waterproof, but I can't comment on this right now. So far, the only problem I have encountered is that when the power to the radio is removed and then restored, the radio ceases to function A radio that has been turned off will not automatically turn on again if it has been applied. Wiring the radio directly to the ignition switch was part of my plan. It's really not a big deal since all you have to do is press the power button on the JBL every time.
This was an easy installation for me, despite the fact that I am not very skilled in electronic wiring. It was fortunate for me that the guy who had put the radio in before me had provided a straightforward plan. This is what I will say. Despite its name, this hole does not meet standard gauge requirements. Measured at 3, it is a good sign. The diameter is 3 inches. So, as you can imagine, I hooked everything up and tried to put it in, but it did not To make room for this amazing radio, I used the Dremel to make a hole in the wall.
With the exception of my stupidity, this was an easy installation. With a pair of JL audio 6 headphones, I was able to track my voice. The number of speakers is five. This is a drastic change from the Dual MBL 20 that used to be there. My next step is to add two cone speakers and an amplifier.
