Fusion Tech support is my first point of contact for this, so I may change my opinions after talking to them. I would expect this to work out of the box, and I'm a little disappointed that I need to deal with tech support. So here are There are two problems with the Bluetooth connection 1) It is not reliable. Several times within a period of an hour or so, the BT connection dropped out, despite my iPhone being less than 2 feet from the router. Re-writing the text was a time-consuming process Contact is established. 2) I replaced an existing Fusion stereo that had worked well for over The only problem is that I wanted a technological upgrade. The existing Fusion 7" speakers were replaced with new Fusion 7" speakers as well. I'm greatly disappointed with the sound quality of the new system compared to the old system. 2) There does not seem to be a way to adjust bass and treble. You might be able to get some help from tech support. However, if not, then you have to say that it's something that I would expect to be standard with any stereo system, and there shouldn't be any need for you to wade through menus to locate the controls (if they Updates will be coming soon.
In spite of being a quality stereo set, I expected all three zones to be amplified when advertised as having three zones. The third zone required an additional amplifier, so I had to purchase one. But it works extremely well, and I like the fact that I can control it with my smartphone. Operation of the system is simple and intuitive. I love it.

So, I take the time to gather all the songs from every folder and put them in a centralized song I was disappointed with disappointment This causes each song to start playing for 2 seconds and then stop. So I thought, "hey, maybe this is so modern that I need a more current version of USB?". Therefore, I purchase an external battery pack that provides 256 GB of storage. It turns out that a) USB sticks can only be 16GB (and it's hard to find 'em that small these days)
c) you're limited to 250 songs per folder. So basically random doesn't work as most people would like. In my collection, I can randomly select songs within albums or artists (folders), but not across albums, and only 250 songs in total. Could it be done without too much difficulty to have it randomize within folders rather than across them? There is no software fix for this problem, but there is a hardware fix. Interestingly enough, I still have an old cell phone from 2012 that I can use to load all the music I want on, and it will shuffle it just fine and allow me to Thus, the stereo is clearly designed to maximize profits, rather than to get the best out of the user. Connectivity cannot be maintained at all with Bluetooth. Several different phones have been tested.
Fusion receivers are one of my favorite marine stereos, I believe they sell the best marine stereo on the market. Initially, I bought this unit when it was new, and the first one I received had a problem that caused it to randomly reboot. My boat's WiFi router provided an Ethernet port so I plugged in the Ethernet port to the boat instead, and now the boat reboots only when I do so. My customer service agent told me this when I contacted them Located on the back of the MS-232 is either one of two network ports This radio is used when the radio is part of a network with another fusion radio that will have the party bus feature. There would be a Bluetooth connection on the radio for wireless connection. I would be happy to answer any other questions you may have. It is said on the Fusion web site that WiFi is supported whenever it is connected to an external router or the Apollo RA770 stereo. Despite this problem, I still love the stereo and I hope they will be able to fix it.
There is some wiring involved in this replacement, but it should simply replace the existing one. I found the unit to be excellent. The upgrade is good.
